Jambo Nelson. Another issue. Our leaders travel abroad, are chauffeured in an SUV or Limousine from the Airport to the Embassy, Hotel, Conference Centers, Brothels, Strip Clubs and Nightclubs. They never get to experience the efficiency of the train and the metro amongst other public services to appreciate the need to upgrade and improve what we have back home.
Nelson Amenya@amenya_nelson

Yesterday we had an interesting convo in Paris with @NelsonHavi if we the young people don’t take over Parliament (plus all other elective seats at every level) in 2027 and 2032 (stretch). The thieving and fake elite that has done nothing but steal our past and mortgage our future will have enough time to hand the button to their kids who will continue the oppression and pilfering. We are talking about Mudavadi’s kids, Ruto’s kids, Raila’s kids, uhuru’s kids, Kalonzo’s kids, Gachagua’s and others, you know them! Vive La Révolution!

The instructions to the Chinese contractor seems to have been very simple: "build the cheapest structure at the highest cost, ama namna gani my fren". This thing should not cost more than 5Bn but Kasongo wants us to pay a total of 145Bn in 15 years🤔

Walee Akhiiro Sual baa Jiirta! Leadership is not a privilege granted for personal gain; it is a sacred responsibility entrusted for the protection of human life and dignity. Judged by this standard and its wisdom, the situation in North Eastern Kenya demands an honest conversation, self reflection and urgent action. Today, conditions in the region have deteriorated so severely that even camels, animals that have evolved over time to endure some of the harshest environments on planet earth, are dying from thirst and hunger. If this is the fate of such resilient and adaptable creatures, what hope remains for human beings in the region? SubhanAllah! Orphans go hungry. Widows cry out in silence and in excruciating pain. The sick are denied even the most basic medical care, because of the greed and neglect of those entrusted with leadership. The Holy Qur’an issues a clear warning: those who unjustly consume the wealth of orphans, widows and the general Ummah are consuming fire into their bellies and will be burned in a blazing Hell. The Holy Qur’an further reminds us that all shall be resurrected and called to account for their deeds, and for the suffering they inflicted upon their victims; the Ummah. SubhanAllah ! Power has a way of deceiving its holders into believing that the consequences of their wrongdoing can be avoided. Yet on Yaumul Qiyamah, ill-gotten wealth will offer no refuge and earthly titles will carry no weight. The question will not be how powerful one was, but how just and true they were to the trust bestowed upon them to be exercised rightly and justly on behalf of the Ummah. SubhanAllah! For the leaders of North Eastern Kenya know, beyond any doubt, that accountability does not end in this world. Divine Justice is inevitable and you shall account for the tears of all those whose suffering and pain you have caused! Kuwi lacagtena cuneen, duxuul nareed Allah SWT hauga digo! Even as we demand accountability and continue to firmly hold the leaders of North Eastern Kenya responsible for neglecting the Ummah, we call upon the Government to urgently declare the ongoing drought a national disaster and to mobilize all available resources to save lives. We further appeal to the International Community and Development Partners to step in and provide immediate humanitarian assistance to alleviate the suffering of the affected communities.

Commander @mkainerugaba has crossed a red line and now the U.S. must reevaluate its security partnership, which includes sanctions, and military cooperation with Uganda. The president's son, and likely successor, cannot just delete tweets and issue hollow apologies. The U.S. will not tolerate this level of instability and recklessness when American personnel, U.S. interests, and innocent lives in the region are at stake.
Daily Monitor@DailyMonitor

Uganda's Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has deleted earlier posts he made on X, accusing the @USAmbUganda administration in Kampala of aiding Bobi Wine's escape. Gen @mkainerugaba, who is also President @KagutaMuseveni's son and a Senior Presidential Advisor on Special Operations, said he "was being fed with wrong information. I have spoken with the US Ambassador to our country and everything is okay. We are going to continue our military cooperation as usual." bit.ly/3ZaY8sj #MonitorUpdates

I have listened to Tirus Kamau Githinji the driver of the bus that collided head-on with Curus Jirongo's Mercedes-Benz and I have questions from what he just told us. Given the established exit mechanics of petrol stations along the Nairobi–Nakuru Highway at Karai where exits typically merge into near-side traffic with medians or barriers preventing immediate crossover how did the Mercedes allegedly exit the station and instantaneously “fail to give way” into your westbound lane if it was joining eastbound traffic toward Nairobi? Did Titus observe any other vehicles in the alleged traffic jam he referenced, and how did he explain the presence of heavy congestion at approximately 3:00 a.m. on a major highway? Titus stated that he braked and attempted to swerve but ultimately chose to “absorb the impact” to avoid rolling the bus into a ditch and to protect 65 passengers. However, considering that an eight-year-old MAN bus is equipped with stability control systems and that the Karai stretch has relatively wide lanes and minimal traffic at that hour, why was a controlled swerve or full emergency stop insufficient to avoid contact entirely? In the video recorded at the scene, Titus stated that he did not know the identity of the Mercedes driver until police arrived, yet he provided a detailed narrative immediately after the crash and reportedly mentioned the name “Cyrus Jirongo” during that narration. How did he obtain this information so quickly if the police had not yet arrived, and why did he choose to speak publicly before an official investigation or legal counsel, knowing this could prejudice his own defense? The crash reportedly occurred under heavy fog and poor visibility, according to the Rift Valley traffic command, yet Titus described seeing the Mercedes “suddenly” from a distance. What was his exact speed as he approached the bend near the petrol station, and did it comply with the NTSA 80 km/h speed limit for buses under such conditions? Considering Climax Coaches’ history of litigation and allegations related to driver negligence, does the Titus narrative placing sole blame on Cyrus Jirongo conveniently deflect scrutiny from operational issues such as scheduling, speed, and driver conduct? Why was a Busia-bound bus passing through Karai precisely at 3:00 a.m., and what specific training does Climax provide for low-visibility driving and service-station merge zones? Have you personally been involved in prior near-misses or incidents at similar highway exits? So Many Inconsistencies...
