@Timmsantiques Another take would be that Nordas has occupied the centre halves and given space for Woodrow to work in. The first half on Saturday was crying out for Nordas to play..posh had two CB’s who made our forwards look like hobbits! We kept lumping it forward and they won everything!

Impressed with Woodrow so far this evening to be fair - Amazing what happens when a bloke is asked to play in a position & role within a system that actually suits his skill set!!! Nordas however…. Hmmmm…. Lets get Yates on and give him some more minutes in the bank please!

@James1940 My grandad was in the royal signals…evacuated from France on 17th June 1940…i was born 17th June 1982…he never mentioned it, only found out after he died in 2012.

This is turning into quite the thread. My maternal grandfather trained in 1916two miles away from where I live now, then was gassed at Passchendaele and was in the Auxiliary Fire Service in the Blitz. Sitting 3rd left.
