I did something very scary today. Last week, I gave an exam that I felt was pretty straightforward. However, my students were very upset, as they felt that it was too difficult. I cancelled today's lecture and let the 220 students share their feelings in class. 🧵

I speak from experience: it is very difficult to get government jobs unless you know the tricks of the application platform (true for any job but add in bureaucracy for the sake of bureaucracy). #scijobs

LOVE - you will go far and be considered "tech savvy" at your job if you have these basics. I will add: knowing how to troubleshoot your video conference system. So simple, yet most people panic and have never thought to read into it (for five minutes!)
