Yes, this #Bitcoin cycle is different. It boils down to Supply/Demand. In 2017, there was a steady increase of BTC on exchanges along with price, while in the current run-up we've seen a dramatic decrease in BTC on exchanges, inverse to price.

@Leo_HODL @wclemente @glassnode There’s simply more bitcoin in supply. That bitcoin has to be somewhere, so the absolute level isn’t relevant here, only the ratio of bitcoin on exchanges to bitcoin held in private wallets.
