During the first Trump impeachment, I drove from Texas to DC and spent two weeks going door to door to every Republican member of the House and Senate. It was exhausting, but as a constituent who believed strongly in President Trump, I felt it was important so I did it. I was there in the Senate chamber the night Trump was acquitted. It was a moment I was really proud of, and I felt like my work had mattered. As of right now, if we lose the House and the Senate which looks more likely every day I will go back to DC. Our“responsibility” is at a moral and human plane. A word of condolence by the Indian Navy ( after political clearance) at the loss of lives of those who were our invitees and saluted our president would be in order.
