My Parents Lied About Their CIA Lives. My Daughter Helped Me Uncover the Truth.
My mom lied to me about my parents CIA work, and possibly my father’s death. It wasn’t until years later, with my daughter Jenna’s help, that the secrets they kept began to surface.
It started with a set of tapes my mother left behind. Each one revealed lies she had hidden for decades. Listening to them, I realized just how much of their lives—and the shadowy world they were part of—I had been kept from.
Those discoveries inspired my new book, Misguided Patriots. The novel explores what happens when family, the CIA, big tech, and the church collide.
In Misguided Patriots, Jenna Gonyea is brilliant, restless, and determined—so much so that she builds her own AI to detect lies. A casual remark about her father’s childhood cracks open decades of hidden secrets, pulling her into a world of assassination, MKUltra experiments, and family loyalties darker than she ever imagined.
Misguided Patriots is a conspiracy thriller inspired by our family’s real life, centered around secrets, inherited darkness, and one unstoppable woman willing to burn everything down rather than live a lie.

@timfattig @GOPoversight I stand corrected. It was a product of congressional hearings that preceded the formal committee. Thanks. Still irks me that this continues today with those IRBs and all anyone wants to talk about is LSD experiments in the 1960s

Technically the NRA predates the Church Committee by a year, but the years-long struggle over the Belmont Report shows it was compromised and politicized just as badly as anything released by Church. The final document is interesting for what it contains as well as for what it omits.

The @GOPoversight hearings did fail, but that is a functional feature, not a bug, of the political oversight process. The Church Committee and HSCA hearings didn’t yield any meaningful legislation or send any of their respective bad guys to jail. Senator Church got a boost out of it; so did Senator Schweiker. Will @RepLuna see a comparable benefit? Time will tell.

Hot take! This whole task force project has been an epic failure.

@BradCGZ Is there honestly ANYONE that didn’t just know this from when Obama never left DC after office and the attacks began? Anyone?
English

@timgproject Obviously or the cops would all just have to go sit in their station like firemen until somebody called them.

It was an honor to be a part of this.

@laralogan Unless people go to jail, lots of people, it will not change.

@sarah_westall @RealCathyOBrien Well it sure wasn’t 20 years to find out what LSD does. I could have done that in my backyard in one summer… in fact, I did! lol

MK-Ultra Isn’t Going Away
Congressional hearings get delayed.
Witnesses suddenly fear for their lives.
And testimony tied to MK-Ultra remains sealed decades later under claims of “national security.”
What are they still hiding?

@RandPaul We need to stop chasing our tails and shut down those labs… TOMORROW

Yesterday's hearing made one thing clear: Washington knew more about COVID origins than they ever admitted.
I've been demanding answers for years. The cover-up is unraveling. Fauci and his cronies have nowhere left to hide.

@thehill The common descriptions of MKultra are almost entirely based on what the CIA says it was. Why would anyone believe that?

What is MK-Ultra and why is it making headlines

@SenRonJohnson Obama, Only senior DC politician not to leave after office besides Allen Dulles

Let me ask again, “who is running the deep state?”

BREAKING: The CIA has just raided Tulsi Gabbard's office: "The CIA just raided Tulsi Gabbard’s office." "Agents brought out dozens of boxes, files on the JFK assassination, and mkultra, this CIA mind control operation, which she was in the process of declassifying."
English

@RogerJStoneJr Jeez man do you really have to call her a whore? I was with you til you did that. Do you hate all the misguided people?
English

@elonmusk Go back to the seventies and most films and TV shows were proportionally cast for realism without any such requirements.

I think it is too late. The growth in government and population since the CIA’s JFK Coup d’état has exponentially increased the already unacceptable level of power they commanded in 1964. The country is just too big. The population of the original United States was about the same as the current greater Houston area. Imagine Houston divided into 13 separate states each with its own legislature, laws and courts. Then a central government over them all. Oversight was not only possible but natural with such a large portion of the population directly involved in government. The only solution to current state of affairs, assuming the same political system is to break retained, IMHO, is to break the country into at least a half dozen smaller countries. As it stands today, it is unmanageable with the current population and style of government.
English

Holy crap this is the worst public relations I have ever seen. This will go down in history as an example of what NOT to do. This was one of the worst days in recent history for the credibility of the CIA and this is how you respond?! It is clear that the CIA needs more oversight. If anything we need to remind bureaucrats like you that the government belongs to the people, it does not belong to you.
English

The Committee acted in bad faith by subpoenaing an Agency officer for testimony today without notifying CIA, despite having already obtained closed-door testimony from the individual previously. The witness testifying today is not appearing as a whistleblower in pursuit of the truth, but instead in response to the subpoena issued by Chairman Paul.
This proceeding amounts to nothing more than dishonest political theater masquerading as a congressional hearing. As the CIA has already assessed, COVID-19 most likely originated from a lab leak, and efforts to undermine that conclusion are disingenuous.

@conspiracyb0t If you have nothing to hide, you are one boring SOB
