Our Years 11 & 13 Geographers had an amazing time in Naples! From exploring ancient ruins in Herculaneum and Pompeii to pizza-making, visiting a citrus farm and discovering Ravello and the Amalfi coastline. Plenty of gelato was enjoyed too! #KennetGeography

Astounded by the creativity and talent that our pupils displayed for European Day of Languages! A feast for the eyes and the tastebuds! @KennetSchool

Years 7-9 explored multiple cultures through a competition for #EuropeanDayofLanguages. Entries could be edible, creative or informative. We were so impressed by the sheer volume of entries and high standards that we had to add extra categories! #KennetLanguages

NEW! One-pager from the awesome session by @MrsBallAP & @lamb_heart_tea at @researchED1 on 'The Scaffolding Effect'. The session was packed with valuable insights and practical strategies from @EducEndowFoundn @MaryMyatt @MargaretMulhol2 @Inner_Drive RP for a free HQ copy.

Shoutout to those Year 7 pupils who have covered their Kennet Companion with sticky back plastic. The book is brimming with useful reference information, including knowledge organisers per subject, learning habits, and details about the Rising Stars Participation Programme.

Thought provoking day- as ever- @researchED1 Full notebook, brain full of reflections and some gorgeous sound bites: including: ‘freedom of discussion: unity in action’ from @StuartLock; ‘teach children just above their pay grade’ from @ModernCassie

First @researchED1 thought trigger from @profbeckyallen: “almost no teachers believe they are below average at teaching”. Cue more reading on self evaluation in professional review processes. @rEDBerks
