@Gabmaree That is a great idea. I may include that as a activity in my project. Having the mirror permanently set up in the classroom is a great way to continually promote the importance of positive self-talk and affirmations.

@Miss_GRiley What an amazing resource Grace! I will be implementing daily affirmation cards within my classroom. I find them to be just what the students need, especially on those hard days. Maybe you could provide a positive affirmation mirror for you students? 🤔

@BellaWightman Definitely after lunch. I find the children are always either restless or distracted when coming back into the classroom. After lunch is the optimal time to settle them to a place for focused learning.

Had a great day running our “Earth Forces - Natural Disasters” workshop with the brilliant learners @bualnaluib today! We moved liked tectonic plates, tornadoes & tsunami, built dams to stop flooding and worked as geologists identifying how various rocks had formed!🌪⛈🌊🌍#STEM

A similar type of excursion would be great for the unit I am teaching in regards to #SDG15. Teaching students the importance of sustainable actions to halt the degradation of our land is a top priority of mine, particularly in my unit. #UoNTeach #educ4750

@samjl138 Wow! That is an alarm statistic. What a great way to incorporate history into your project. You could get the students to think about a specific area from 100 years a go and a 100 years in the future.
