@valigo I'd love to get the politics out of everything, but most of the arguments are tiresome either way. But I guess I'm the outlier because I'm firmly in camp "you should use the tools you like using"

I really miss when programming language/editors/frameworks wars were purely technical.
Now it's so hard to participate in a good faith, it seems like the majority of discourse is about liking/not liking creators personally, or about politics "in the community".
This makes sense, because most people are incompetent and have no way to discuss tech on its merit, but they still want to belong to the discussion, it's just a universal human behavior. It's the same reason why most people discuss pop stars' personal life instead of their music.
Still sad though.

The ranch beanies and weenies is... different. Less sweet than the baked bean version, which I kinda dig. The onion I got was rotten inside though. :(

@magnum_d1ngus Yikes, mine is coming up on that soon I think. It was one of the last nice things I got back when jobs were a thing that existed.
I worked as an auto mechanic when I was younger so I feel that. It's amazing how many "nerds" these days have no hardware skills.

@Mongoose_Studio Indeed. I've been running this board for about 3 years now. Just outside the warranty period, but that don't bother me. Taking stuff apart is kind of my jam and all of the switches in that XD75 were salvaged, so the soldering work is no factor as well.
