@LukeChrisFFL I notice the 47 catches off 84 targets for Pierce but somehow still got 1003 yards. I know they had QB problems after Jones went down but that is just a horrible catch rate. 47 catches and 4 TDs got him 4 years and a $114 million.

Zach Lowe suggests the Pacers could leverage their first round pick if they retain it: “Indiana would probably lean toward just using the pick and trying to draw two timelines at once…Real interesting trade piece, depending on where it falls, given that they clearly are going into next season in a win-now mentality” (Via @ZachLowe_NBA) Oh boy 😂😂😂

WNBA, WNBPA announce new 7-year pact running through 2032 season. In addition to what was already known: - two player development roster spots - housing provided 2026-28 - salary cap expectations for injured and pregnant players - 50 games for 2027 & 2028 seasons, then 52 games

@C2_Cooper @TonyREast I’m glad we chose him over Mathurin. He’s not as talented of a scorer, but I definitely see all the different ways he can help the team. Hopefully they can extend him to a team friendly deal this summer.

Small detail that may have gone unnoticed: Jarace took his first ever charge in his career. Look at the reaction from the coaching staff. Learning to embrace physicality/contact is critical for him. Also, even amid a 16-game losing streak, all of his teammates helped him up.

@SleeperPacers Dude is going to be out of the league in a couple years and he will not have a basketball home. Was only at Texas for one year, didn’t do much, spent 10 years in Indy and completely crapped on them on the way out, Milwaukee won’t want him. He did it to himself.

Myles Turner still upset because Pacers fans booed him rather than showing appreciation: “I was talking about the front office, but they in the city of Indiana took it on them like, 'Oh, we appreciate you for years. The f--k are you talking about?’ ” 🤡🤡🤡

The Pacers fall to the Spurs for their 16th straight loss. They’ve now lost more games in a row than they’ve won all season.

Oh it’s question on logic. Now some might say what is logic so let me explain it to you how norm McDonald explained it to me Every day I meet somebody new, you know, this city’s great because of the neighborly people, you know. But I did meet one neighbor with an interesting story. This guy just moved in next door to me, so I’m always one to meet the neighbors. So I went over, I knocked on the door next door where I live, and I say to the guy, “Hey, I’m your new neighbor. Good to see you, nice to run into you, welcome to the neighborhood.” And I said, “What do you do for a living there, sir—if you don’t mind me asking—what do you do for a living?” I’m a nightclub comic, I tell the guy. So he says to me, “I’m a… I work down at the University of Science there. I’m a professor of logic.” “Oh, so I says, ‘Logic? Now what the hell is that? I never heard tell of that.’” He says, “Oh, well, it’s a kind of a pattern of syllogistic… well, it’s hard to explain. Why don’t I give you an example?” So I said, “Fair enough, why don’t you do that?” So the guy says, “Well, let me ask you a question. Do you own a doghouse?” So I go, “Yes, I do.” He says, “Well, then that means you probably have a dog.” I said, “Yes.” He says, “Well, that means you have a family if you have a dog.” I said, “Yes, I do.” He said, “Uh, well, then that means you got kids, you’re married.” I said, “Yes, yes, I am.” He says, “Well, then you’re a heterosexual man.” I said, “Yes, sir, I am.” He says, “Well, you see, that’s logic there. Simply from finding out you had a doghouse, I made this series of inferences and I found you’re a heterosexual man simply from the fact that you had a doghouse.” Well, I said, “Good God, isn’t that something?” So I said, “Well, I won’t waste any more of your time there, neighbor,” and I left. So I go to get a bus, you know, to the bus stop, and I’m standing at the bus and no bus coming at all. Five or six of us standing around, and one guy lights up a cigarette there, and he goes, “As soon as you light up a cigarette, the bus comes.” And he smokes the whole damn cigarette—no bus comes. So I said to the guy, “Well, that theory really worked, huh?” And the guy goes, “Well, sometimes it works.” Anyways, the guy goes, “What’s new with you?” I go, “Well, I had an interesting thing happen to me today. I met my neighbor. And he had a hell of an interesting job. He’s a professor of logic down at the University of Science.” And the guy says, “Is that so? Professor of logic? What the hell is that, logic?” I said, “Well, it’s a series of… I can’t remember exactly, but I’ll give you an example if you want to hear an example.” So the guy goes, “All right, fair enough.” So I said, “Let me ask you this. Do you own a doghouse?” And the guy goes, “No, I don’t own a doghouse.” So I says, “Oh yeah… you’re one of them gays.”

I borrowed 50k from Dad and 50k from Mum to buy a laptop that costs 97k. After the purchase, I had 3k left. I returned 1k to Dad and 1k to Mum, and I reserved 1k for myself. I now owe Dad 49k and Mum 49k also. 49k + 49k = 98k plus 1k I reserved for myself, which is 99k. So where did 1k go..?

Adverse Action with Aly 🏴‍☠️💰📰
"What made you think that there was something wrong with you?" - I'll assume you're genuinely curious. Because something inside me, something internal screamed that I was wrong. If I try to be more specific, that's only because I now have the words to quantify those feelings. My younger self had no other sensation besides a wrongness. "If you were born without people telling you things are right and wrong, you'd only have known "This thing pees and tickles when I touch it"" - 😐 That's a disturbing way to talk about a child. No one told me, your argument's central premise is incorrect. No one told 4-6 year old Aly that she was in the wrong body, I knew my body was wrong. "Someone told you not to be naked or something and you interpreted it as bad" - Again, really weird phrasing

Another DNP for Kam Jones tonight. One more and his contract will only be half guaranteed for 2026-27 heading into the offseason and wouldn't become fully guaranteed until June 30.

Again, I love Indiana football and Curt Cignetti. But Indiana football isn't a Cinderella story. It's a pay-for-play story.

Lol!! You are delusional about the apartment and the vehicle. The other stuff, yes. $2000 rent today is a starting amount in most large cities if even not more. Most vehicles today start at $40,000. Depending on what degree you get, you can make more, but, companies are hiring H1B visa holders over US College graduates so they can keep wages low, which is why that pay is $50,000. It is a completely different financial world that what existed in the past.

Things more dangerous than $7 coffees: - $40,000 wedding ($5,000/hr party) - $80,000 degree that gets you a $50,000/yr job - $40,000 car loan because you "earned it" - $2,000/mo apartments to flex for friends ...Thats why 80% of people are broke.
