Bra @robertmarawa, could stadium management please address this issue on air? The safety of the masses should always be the top priority. While we appreciate and embrace new technology, we also understand that it comes with challenges that need to be acknowledged and resolved. Thank you, Sir. #MSW

"Captain Ibrahim Traore, the 37-year-old leader of Burkina Faso, has introduced a groundbreaking new law that has captured the world's attention. Under this law, thieves will no longer be sent to prison as is customary. If a person is caught for the crime of theft, they will be detained, but not in a prison. They will be forced to do government work or national development labor until they pay back the money they stole. They will only be released after they have repaid what they stole. According to Ibrahim Traore, "We are turning theft into a form of debt repayment. Thieves will help build the nation, instead of being fed again in prisons. This is a step to protect society and improve the economy." This new policy demonstrates a level of vision, patriotism, and genuine leadership that is rarely found in Africa. There’s something I have noticed about a lot of Pick n Pay stores, they are not within reach. They make it difficult for someone who uses a taxi to get there.

@khayadlanga This cleanup of Tshwane is not being done as a special task with a special budget and is probably therefore sustainable. Joburg, on the other hand, apparently got a special budget for G20-cleanup and might possibly get worse afterward.

@firepower66 @mybroadband “Some first discovered this when they found that they could not link their bank card to the phone for tap payments using the Samsung Wallet or Samsung Pay apps.” And if you tried to make a warranty claim, you’d be told no warranty applies in SA.

If you find a relatively cheap Samsung Galaxy smartphone on Takealot, it could a grey import, warns @mybroadband That means no warranty in SA, no use of Samsung Wallet, etc It’s not illegal to sell grey (genuine but not imported or supported by official agents) products in SA, provided that that is disclosed in the advert/listing. In this case, resellers aren’t doing that.
MyBroadband@mybroadband

Several listings for Samsung Galaxy smartphones on Takealot lack notices that they are parallel or grey imports with no local warranty support. mybroadband.co.za/news/smartphon…

steady decline of the rewards programme raise serious questions about how customer satisfaction is being prioritized. It’s disappointing to feel that genuine service excellence has become a thing of the past. #Ebucks #FNB #CustomerService

@SowetanLIVE @FNBSA This is bullshit, they’ve moved the posts making it harder for people to get to level 5.. they’re pushing customers to take on more loans and other products to get to level 5.. don’t ever think the bank is for their customers, they’re only for their pockets.

@SowetanLIVE @FNBSA Really @FNBSA ? Do you not see the backlash here with your new mid-year ridiculous changes? Still trying to market is as a good thing with paid ads while you're actually screwing your customers?

Hi @FNBSA Ad-hoc eBucks rule changes starting Nov 2025 are unacceptable. Long-time Level 5 clients will now be dropped to Level 3. Those locked into 24-month device contracts are hit even harder. Total bait and switch. Please reconsider, or many will be forced to leave. #eBucks

Dear @FNBSA, these unexpected #eBucks rule changes are completely unacceptable and go against the principles of a rewards program. Are you seriously changing the rules mid-eBucks year to punish the very same people who jumped through hoops to adhere to your annual rule changes in July? Stop counting cents and look at the bigger impact of this break in trust you just announced. Don't just consider those who will leave, but also consider how this damages the trust relationship between you and your customers. All of this for what? The bottom line?
