We cannot lose sight of the only realistic foundation for a true peace & stability: a two-State solution. Israelis must see their legitimate needs for security materialized. Palestinians must see their legitimate aspirations for an independent State realized.

Politically the most interesting part of the aftermath of the hospital bombing isn’t Biden pledging unconditional support to the fascist Israeli regime, that’s predictable. It’s the Arab client states refusing to get behind the insane Israeli plan for Gaza, at least so far. Jordan and Egypt cancelling meetings with the American president isn’t nothing. Saudi hosting a summit with Iran on the Gaza crisis isn’t nothing. It doesn’t mean these arab leaders are acting out of love for Palestine. It just shows that due to self interest they’re not behaving as the domesticated puppets the US thought they were, at least for now.
