We REALLY, REALLY dodged a bullet by not having this pale, botoxed, underage curious, "woke right" pandering numb nuts as Attorney General of the United States.

And Egypt is not exactly a good neighbor. It incites against Jews all the time in local media and the education system. But its government doesn’t try to wage war against Israel. It really is that simple: Don’t wage war and you’ll be fine.
Hananya Naftali@HananyaNaftali

Israel shares borders with both Jordan and Egypt. We don’t invade them. Why? Because their leaders actively fight radical extremists and choose not to attack us. Simple truth: If you don’t attack Israel, you can live side by side in peace. Lebanon can make the same choice anytime. Peace is possible. The decision is theirs. 🇮🇱🇱🇧

First World government obsession with “green” technology is driving this. And all those on their moral high horses turn a blind eye to the enslavement of Christians so they can claim their electric cars are “saving the planet.” A moral inversion no sane person can fathom.
Samantha Smith@SamanthaTaghoy

Christian kids are being sold as slaves in the Congo. Some are just 4 years old, sold as sex slaves or to cobalt mines by Islamist groups and smugglers. Where is the UN? Where is the Left? Where is Hollywood? “Black Lives Matter” they cry… …except when it’s black Christians

All aggregators had their payouts reduced to 60% this cycle. We will add another 20% deduction in the next cycle. It became abundantly clear: flooding the timeline with 100 stolen reposts and clickbait everyday crowded-out real creators and hurt new author growth. The next step is to assign a permanent deduction to habitual bait posters who use “🚨BREAKING”on every post. X will never infringe on speech or reach—but we will not compensate for manipulation of the program or our users.

No. Israel is not committing a genocide of Arabs/Muslims or anyone else. Muslims are committing a genocide of Christians in Nigeria…and Sudan…and Syria… It’s called projection.

David Reaboi, Late Republic Nonsense
It’s about time people completely ignored pronouncements from leaders of religious denominations with significant presence among Muslim populations in the Middle East and Africa. At best, they know their people are hostages—and it’s cost-free to attack the Israelis and Americans who they know will not go on murder sprees. I thought everyone knew this.

The only thing you need to know about the situation regarding Iran is that the United States has never, since the Barbary Wars over 200 years ago, accepted that a foreign potentate would be able to control freedom of the seas and demand tribute. It's the reason we built a Navy.

Several months ago I wrote in @tabletmag about the real endgame for Carlson, Owens, Fuentes, MTG and the rest, and how a significant part of right-wing discourse has organized their politics—the friend/enemy distinction, if you will—around contempt for the Jews. We haven’t had that in America before, and it’s a harbinger of the kind of retardation and evil that will bring about a collapse, no matter who’s in power. These people don’t need to run the county in order to run it to the ground. People can mock Genesis 12:3, but it’s addressing the curse that’s attached to this obsession.

This is an extremely disingenuous statement made by someone who stood next to a rabid Jew hater wearing a sweatshirt that said let them cook. And then when he was called out on his behavior, held up the rosary and said that it’s Catholic bias. The arsonist can’t be the firefighter. Now is the time to have the come to Jesus moment. Admit you were wrong. And do better.

Mohammad Marandi, one of the most vile propagandists for the Islamic Republic, appearing on the show of literal neo-Nazi Stew Peters. Peters is one of the most dangerous neo-Nazis, and I have personally witnessed him radicalize viewers in a short period of time into violent anti-Jewish hatred.

For a long time the issue in the Middle East was Israel vs the Arabs. The Arab states lost three wars against Israel and, with them, the propaganda battle. As long as the conflict was framed as Israel versus the Arabs, Western sympathy flowed naturally toward the Jewish state; a tiny nation of survivors fighting for its life against a coalition of much larger hostile powers. It was an unwinnable narrative, so the Arabs changed the narrative. Through the 1970s, led by Arafat and the PLO with active Soviet strategic coaching, the Palestinian cause was deliberately repositioned as a Third World national liberation movement, culminating in Arafat’s carefully staged UN appearance in 1974 and the “Zionism is racism” resolution the following year. The unit of comparison shifted from Israel-vs-Arab-states to Israel-vs-Palestinians. The effect was a complete moral inversion achieved without firing a shot. Once Palestinians became the relevant comparison class, Israel transformed overnight from underdog to Goliath; a nuclear-armed military power occupying a stateless people. The Holocaust frame, previously Israel’s greatest moral asset, began cutting the other way: Jews of all people should understand persecution. Soldiers at checkpoints replaced massed Arab armies as the defining image of the conflict. The aggressor became the victim and the defender became the oppressor, not through any change in the underlying facts, but through one of the most successful narrative reframings in modern political history. But although the narrative has changed the reality hasn’t. It’s still the case that the Arab states (and Iran) simply view Israel as occupying Arab land. And irrespective of any pragmatic accommodations they’ll make to deal with Israel, the underlying logic is not going to change.

Our dear Mendy Katz, a treasured and beloved member of the Chabad community in Connecticut, today bears a heartbreak that words barely hold. His 22-year-old son, Moshe Yitzchak, a Sgt. in the IDF, was taken from this world in Lebanon fighting for all of us. He leaves a void that aches through every corner of our community. The pain we share is raw and heavy, but so is our love for Mendy, his family, and all who mourn. May we surround them with warmth, courage, and unwavering support in these darkest hours. May his memory be a blessing, now and forever.

The Iranian regime, if it is going to collapse or capitulate dramatically, is likeliest to do so after it has 1) lost functional leverage over the Strait, 2) is unable to meaningfully threaten Gulf countries, and 3) has lost the ability to export its own fuel to China. These are the three structural pillars holding up the current establishment in Tehran. Successfully attacking them leaves the regime defanged, bankrupt, and entirely weakened. The end goal is throttling the regime’s financial lifeline, but without destroying infrastructure needed for post conflict recovery and economic viability. It is self defeating to harm the basic infrastructure to the point of ensuring any new government is perpetually vulnerable to domestic instability and devoid of regional trade and diplomatic leverage. Therefore it is preferable to avoid destroying critical export nodes like Kharg Island. However, precision strikes against the island’s 77 mw power plant, substations and/or SCADA nodes can incapacitate exports with damage that can be reversed within a feasible window -- months, rather than years. Alternatively open water interdiction of Iran’s 400-430 vessel shadow fleet is less intrusive still and preserves leverage. Getting there however is the challenge. The two problems are interdependent: Iran is currently effectively holding both Hormuz and critical Gulf infrastructure hostage. Aerial shaping and preclearance along the littoral strike belt is underway, while Iran’s landward strike capacity is being steadily degraded. At the same time, point defenses are likely being reinforced around Barakah nuclear plant, desalination infrastructure, and critical terminals such as Ras al-Kainah, Jebel Ali, Fujairah and Yanbu. With the Tripoli ARG and 31st MEU now in theater, the next phase may involve clearing and establishing expeditionary advanced bases on island chains such as Abu Musa, the Tunbs, and Siri to push defensive depth seaward and establish weapons engagement zones in front of soft rear assets along the Gulf. The current operational trend suggests as follows: Month 1 has primarily succeeded in degrading Iran’s retaliatory saturation threat and disrupting its recuperation pathways. Month 2 is likely to focus on inland critical threat sites and expanding a defensive shield over the Gulf leveraging special operations forces raids. Stripping the enemy's retaliatory capacity in the first 28 days was the necessary down payment to enable strategic isolation that follows via an economic and territorial squeeze.

it is getting increasingly tiresome to read and hear calls to "finish the job" in Iran absent any serious discussion of what the job is and how it is to be accomplished with military force.
