I now get a prescription every 6 month at a cost of £25 and pay 46p per tablet from local pharmacy (or 30p p/t on-line).

@modernheroestv But when your animal comes in as an emergency or urgent case, you’ll still expect vets to have drugs in stock to treat those animals immediately. You won’t want to be waiting 5 days for their painkillers to arrive…it costs to keep drugs in stock for immediate use…

I think a lot of people have completely the wrong end of the stick with this Issuing the bit of paper will be capped at £21, not the medicine it allows you to obtain….

@B_Disappointed @SkyNews My vet charges £2.85 per tablet for my pet’s meds. If I buy privately from local pharmacy (it’s human medication) it’s 46p per tablet. If I buy from an on-line pharmacy it’s 30p. The difference in cost you asked about will be coming out of vets profits.

@henryfc5 @SW_Help 14 year old (in school uniform) daughter running to catch train. 6.30pm. Winter so was dark, unmanned station & only 2 trains p/hr. Guard watched her run onto platform, blew whistle, closed doors then let train sit for 1 min before signally train to leave. He wouldn’t let her on.

When @SW_Help train guard sees me running to make the train (even though it was a min late), instesd of asking me if I am running for the train, just blows the whistle and the train departs. I mean i have no reason to go to that platform barring getting the train

@ladydiva17_eve @MartinSLewis Teenagers are offered the MenACWY vaccine and infants are offered the MenB vaccine. The UK also offers PCV, PVV and Hib vaccines. Teens aren’t offered the MenB on the NHS for various reasons. Feel free to google those reasons if you care enough.

@MartinSLewis Thankfully I have never had it and have been vaccinated against it. In the US, it is mandatory to have the meningitis vaccine when living in halls. I am surprised it ain't a thing here since the NHS are always copying the Americans when it comes to vaccinations.

@RBKingston I’ve a tiny microwave 30x43x24cm to dispose of. I can’t get to the recycling centre & the only other option seems to be the £47 bulky item collection charge. I’d happy to pay that for a sofa or fridge but that seems excessive for something the size of two shoe boxes.

Well that was quite traumatic. Our BA flight from CT to London was overbooked. I could have a seat but my wife couldn’t! How does that work? So we were both bumped off the flight! @British_Airways - after 45yrs of constant travel with you I’m lost for words!

Girl… this lil girl is a grifter and an enabler. Nobody is mad at him because he is disabled. Most people understand Tourette’s. I think what blew this thing all up is when Mr. Davidson put out his initial statement there was not an apology attached to the statement. Because he knows he has this tic. He was hurling negativity towards people the whole night. Cool he says it’s involuntary. But knowing this should have promoted an apology from him or his people. But he didn’t initially apologized and that set everyone black person off (especially black Americans because it was hurled towards 2 black Americans). Now, he has since apologized to Mr. Jordan and Mr. Delroy so this conversation should be over.

@ollywehring what is going on with the RBK resident parking charges? We already pay £123 for our existing car and now £185 for our additional one? Thats on top of the £300 PER MONTH (likely more for 2026) we’re charged for council tax. How is this justified?

was at the BAFTA Awards (Im here rn actually). John Davidson had been involuntary ticking before the show started, and throughout. All guests were made aware before the show started and throughout why. I actually think the film “I swear” depicts and educates on this perfectly.
