@Gabrielross111 @IsabelOakeshott @AngelaRayner Usually is doing some heavy lifting there. She was advised to take specialist advice to to the “complicated nature” of her financial affairs, which included a trust. She showed spectacularly poor judgment in ignoring that advice.

@MrsTeenyB @IsabelOakeshott @AngelaRayner Wrong. In the UK, conveyancers (including solicitors and licensed conveyancers) can usually give advice about Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT)

This is a VERY bad development for @AngelaRayner . Her own lawyers are turning on her, saying they never gave her any tax advice. It is an unholy mess, and she is RIGHT on the political precipice

If I skived Parliament on a day when issues affecting my constituency were being discussed and instead flew off to another country where I spent my time slagging off my country. I would rightly be dubbed a lazy, anti-patriotic waster. Just saying.
