Endometriosis, fibroids & other gynaecological conditions are ruining the lives of millions of women - yet too often they go undiagnosed, dismissed or mistreated.
In Parliament, I spoke about this issue & the real experiences of my constituents impacted.

Yesterday, I was honoured to present Benjamin Zephaniah’s City of Birmingham Medal.
Benjamin is the award’s inaugural recipient with the award accepted posthumously by his widow Qian Zephaniah and brother Tippa Naphtali.

Today we launch Ramadanstreets.com - proud to be in our 2nd year. We honour the late Cllr. Waseem Zaffar, without his vision, we would not be here. He called for a German Market style Ramadan Bazar -might not be at his preferred club Aston Villa, but hope we did him proud!
