There is no such thing as a free lunch. If they do away with property taxes they will have to raise the lost revenue from the public in other ways or else shut down all the schools, police and fire departments, municipal utilities, street and road maintenance, disaster clean up etc.

How do you know he’s portraying himself as Jesus, and not as himself? There are no captions on this photo; people are just losing their minds and making their own assumptions. Today, I decided I’m going to push back on Christianity being mocked. Trump’s post pushed me over the edge. My entire life, I’ve sat back as people mocked Christianity because their satire doesn’t affect my religiosity. But not anymore. Seems wrong now. We need to stand for something. And this seems like a fine red line.

As a loyal supporter of President Trump, I don’t always agree with everything he does or shares. Case in point: this picture. While I believe he was going for “Saving America and her people,” it doesn’t translate as such to me. It looks like he’s portraying himself as Jesus laying hands on the sick with divine light, and I do not agree with that. Trump is a strong leader fighting for our country, but no man is our Savior, only Jesus Christ holds that role. Loyalty doesn’t mean blind agreement. Let’s keep our focus on real results and policies. 🇺🇸

No doctor in history has laid hands on a patient with light radiating from his palms dressed exactly like Jesus. There is no stethoscope. No gloves. No lab coat. The nurse next to the patient is dressed like a medical professional. This is BLASPHEMY. Protestants have spent the last 500 years screaming about graven images. Now they have one. And instead of condemning it, they are sharing it. @JDVance is Catholic. @SecRubio is Catholic. Stand up and Demand that Trump retract and apologize. A public graven image requires public repentance. I don’t believe the president intended to depict himself as Jesus when he posted it. He is a believer after all. I do appreciate that he deleted it—something President Trump has rarely done. Discernment is learned, not always automatic.
