You both have pieces of truth. It's important for men to find male friends who actually genuinely do care about you. They are out there but you must use wisdom & discernment to filter out the people looking to exploit you & solely use you exclusively for their own selfish desires

@OhDear_Friend I disagree. Lots of people care about other people. They just care about themselves the most. Not some harrowing realisation, its actually a very important lesson to learn because the only person in your life who will place you first is yourself... so learn to love yourself.

@ItIsHoeMath @Shaliiniiiii depression is sadness + powerlessness (especially in men). Therapy doesn't help because therapy is made for women to teach them to love themselves. Men need to feel powerful. The cure for depression is to take back your power through discipline and habits.

Yesterday I sold a nice 18v Dewalt kit to a man my age (late 30's) for $100. It was a great deal for him (and a NEED purchase, not a "want" purchase) with 3 tools & 2 batteries with a charger but his wife called in to nag him for it anyways. He told me "never get married" 😄
