Mumbai Wheelchair Cricket Team will provide more opportunities to wheelchair cricketers across Maharashtra to play at the national & Inter-nation level.

From legends like Jonty Rhodes and Justin Langer, who once visited the academy where I practiced in Lucknow and inspired our players with their words and presence… to being invited to Lucknow Super Giants practice sessions every moment reminds me how far wheelchair cricket has come. 🙌 And now, seeing AB de Villiers experience the spirit of wheelchair cricket with our Mumbai Wheelchair Cricket Team fills us with pride and motivation. 💪 A heartfelt thanks to Dr Sanjiv Goenka Sir for always supporting and motivating our wheelchair cricketers inviting them during every LSG match in Lucknow has been truly uplifting for our players. Your constant belief in inclusive cricket gives us strength to dream bigger. 💙 As we witness the incredible rise of women’s cricket, it stands as a beautiful example that cricket is truly everyone’s game. We too dream big to represent India on the world stage under the same umbrella as every other cricketer. For that, we need the support and inclusion of BCCI, because with the right backing, this dream can and will become reality. ♿🇮🇳 With guidance from legends and faith from the cricketing fraternity, Wheelchair Cricket will rise not as a separate story, but as a proud chapter of Indian Cricket itself. @DrSanjivGoenka @JontyRhodes8 @ABdeVilliers17 @JayShah @lonsaikia @BCCI @ICC @wcia_official @sqnldrabhai @narendramodi @CricCrazyJohns #WheelchairCricket #ABD360 #LSG #LucknowSuperGiants #CricketForAll #Inspiration #GameOfSpirit #Respect

@TheMumbaiMirror thanks for finally sharing the real story. @RamugadeRahul well done! Some may call you “negative,” but let’s be real & you only seem negative to those who’ve mastered the fine art of pleasing the system. I genuinely appreciate how you’re voicing the truth for hundreds of wheelchair cricketers in Mumbai who’ve been conveniently ignored for far too long. It’s ironic we have the grounds, but apparently, our wheels are more damaging than years of mismanagement. The irony writes itself, doesn’t it? It’s about time @BCCI steps up and ensures proper inclusion, as clearly directed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court. @MithunManhas @lonsaikia care to explain why wheelchair cricket still receives zero support? Why are Differently Abled Cricket activities still left outside the BCCI framework? Maybe accessibility isn’t the real issue acceptance is. And perhaps it’s time for other media houses as well to come forward, support the cause, and help the public see the complete and genuine picture. @JayShah @ICC @MumbaiCricAssoc @ajinkyasnaik @abhishereporter @AnkanKar @BoriaMajumdar @ians_india @PTI_News @sardesairajdeep @tehseenp @vikrantgupta73 @ANI @smitaprakash @RubikaLiyaquat @gargiraut15 @rawatrahul9 @toi_gauravG @pdevendra @kushansarkar @Vimalwa @mishradrrakesh @Vimalsports @kashyapvipul @VibhuBhola @Nitin_sachin @lal__kal @karishmasingh22

Thanks @airindia for providing smooth service to @RamugadeRahul Captain of the @MumbaiWCT on flight AI 2735 from Goa to Mumbai. A special mention to ground staff for their kindness and support. The personal wheelchair and baggage were delivered quickly. @bobade_ninad 👍

So telling the truth is my crime? 🙃 A wheelchair user exposes fraud in disability cricket & what I get back is abuse and hate. Haroon Rasheed from Agra has been running scams since 2013 under “Disabled Sporting Society” taking ₹10k–₹35k from players to make them play for India, even looting wheelchair users with false promises. One player is now driving an e-rickshaw for survival. After 2019, he shifted to DCCBI (Divyang Cricket Control Board of India) just to confuse people with DCCI (Differently Abled Cricket Council of India) – the only body supported by @BCCI Another dirty trick to fool players. This is the reality of “disability cricket” in India. Loot by fraud NGOs, silence from authorities, and insults for players who speak up. @agrapolice @MSJEGOI under RPWD Act 2016 is this allowed? Or should we just stay quiet and keep getting cheated? Unless @BCCI takes disability cricket fully under its wing, disabled cricketers will always face fraud, abuse & exploitation. Requesting Hon’ble @rashtrapatibhvn @PMOIndia Hon’ble @narendramodi sir & national media to highlight these scams. Because every time we raise our voice, fraudsters get richer and players get poorer. I have also presented video evidence & selection letters where he openly asked money from players. The proof is there, not just my words. I am only asking for justice and dignity for every disabled cricketer. I request our Hon’ble Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister @myogiadityanath sir to take strict action against Haroon Rasheed for using derogatory remarks against a wheelchair user. @JayShah @lonsaikia @ShuklaRajiv @ThakurArunS @ians_india @KirtiAzaad @RajBabbar23 @timesofindia @TimesNow @htTweets @the_hindu @toisports @abhishereporter @Nitin_sachin @saintkishore @Vimalsports @RubikaLiyaquat @saurabhtop @sardesairajdeep @TheLallantop @AnjumLiyaquat @vikrantgupta73 @dcciofficial @wcia_official @imRaviKChauhan @sqnldrabhai

How long will differently-abled cricketers have to struggle despite bringing laurels to the nation? Even after BCCI's Differently-Abled Cricket Committee formation, players like Rajesh remain homeless. No big corporates or BCCI stepping up to support? @BCCI @JayShah @lonsaikia

A brilliant campaign 🦁 Second place at the Physical Disability Champions Trophy 🏏 Final reaction and report 👇

The hope of scaling the peak of your dreams doesn’t come with any pre-requisites. If you’ve got an aspiration, there’s no stopping you. Because it’s not a disability, it’s just a different way of doing things. #WorldDisabilityDay #TataCapital
