Commies have historically always hated sex work. They believe sex work it's just a symptom of exploitation and inequality which would no longer exist in their utopian vision once they finally do away with evil capitalism. This is why sex work has eventually gotten outlawed in pretty much all communist regimes because it doesn’t fit within their model of how labor is supposed to function. Sex work is one of those services where demand is persistent across cultures and time, thus showing the emergent nature of markets. This is considered threatening because it's an autonomous market that arises spontaneously from human demand and cannot be fully captured by central planning.

This is exactly "Anarcho-tyranny." Don't scroll by, I used to hate that term too. I know it sounds like the duck-pond libertarian debate club on a bender, but I get it now. It's two things smashed together by Marxists in order to squeeze society. The anarchy is loosed on the streets so that the citizenry clamors for tyranny. The tyranny is only applied to the decent citizenry, of course, because the radicals, freeloaders, derelicts, and criminals are too valuable to the Marxists. Gun laws will be applied to disarm decent citizenry, while those who commit violent crimes will be returned to the streets to continue the campaign.

He got probation for shooting up a car outside a school. Probation. The left’s views on guns are totally contradictory. On one hand, they demand strict gun control laws. On the other, their social justice crusade requires not enforcing them. A circle that can’t be squared.

AI robots meeting all of our human needs for free? I have questions: 1. Someone must pay money to build the AI robots that build/provide the "free" goods and services. Such someone will have control over the AI robots. Why will that someone allow those goods and services to be given away for "free"? That's not human nature (see my next question). 2. Goods and services are wealth. Wealth is power. Mankind craves power, always has and always will. Why would mankind give away wealth when it means giving away power? 3. What if the someone controlling the AI robots and the "free" goods and services is named Karen and if you don't adopt the woke political views that Karen demands you adopt, you get no goods, no food, no services, bupkis, no nothing, you starve? And if your answer to all of the above is "the AI robots will be autonomous," think about what you just said, Mr. John Connor. I just see this as a variation on the dangers of the lure of communism, except after the AI robots use us as human batteries in THEIR Five Year Plan, "We never have had REAL AI robots" will be cold comfort. Sorry for the negative waves, but I think this concept fails to account for human nature.

Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI. AI/robotics will produce goods & services far in excess of the increase in the money supply, so there will not be inflation.

This woman knows exactly what she is doing. She knows full well what the Supremacy Clause says: "This Constitution, and the laws of the United States which shall be made in pursuance thereof; and all treaties made, or which shall be made, under the authority of the United States, shall be the supreme law of the land; and the judges in every state shall be bound thereby, anything in the Constitution or laws of any State to the contrary notwithstanding." Moreover, she fully understands the legal doctrine of preemption and the abundant volume of extremely clear case law underpinning it. She knows this is wrong. She knows this is unconstitutional. She does not care about the Constitution, she only cares about power and satisfying her political beliefs, the law be damned. In this regard, as a moral and intellectual matter, she is no different than Democrat/Confederate Brigadier General P.G.T. Beauregard, who fired the first shots on Fort Sumter in 1861. Democrats never change. They just figure out new ways to hide their hatred of the United States of America. "UNITED." Got it lady?

What people are forgetting is that building the store isn't the point. For socialist/communist politicians It's about laundering as much money as you can for you and your political friends. I guarantee that Mamdani has zero intentions of building a store. In 12 months he'll say they need $100 million more and there will be zero progress on a store.
