We use mass immigration to fudge economic data. 4. The government despises you but smiles as it wrecks the country. 5. Free trade wrecked Australia. 6. BREAKING: Labor is backing another pay rise for 2.7M minimum wage and award workers. Today we've made a submission to the Annual Wage Review recommending the Fair Work Commission award an economically sustainable real wage increase to Australia’s award workers. The minimum wage is now $175 a week higher than when we came to office. This is just another way we're helping with the cost of living, alongside all the support we’re rolling out like tax cuts and cheaper medicines.

22 days ago petrol was $1.49 in my area. Now it’s heading to 2 bucks fifty thanks to Trump and Israel, ya know, the same people that MAGA clappers like Pauline Hanson and Jacinta Price cheer on for, caps and all. The whole MAGA movement is making your life harder. 👇🏼

@dylan01 @TheKouk Fairly well said and agreed re kouks tweet. At least the families can still buy petrol. Meanwhile rural Australia is paying $2.70+ for diesel if you can find it and farms are grinding to a halt due to lack of deliveries at a critical time of the production year.

Stephen Koukoulas — ex-Gillard economic advisor and tireless Labor spruiker — your tweet is pure partisan sludge. Fact: Australia’s fuel reserves sit at a pathetic 36 days of petrol, miles below the IEA’s 90-day minimum. That dangerous vulnerability didn’t magically appear in 2025; it festered for years, and under Labor since 2022 it has not improved one iota despite Middle East wars and spiking threats. Small-government types aren’t hypocrites for demanding the giant bureaucracy actually fix the energy-security disaster it helped create through endless red tape and green dogma — they’re just pointing at gross incompetence. Your “hypocrisy in extremis” line is nothing but a desperate shield for Labor’s failure while families stare down $2.20/litre petrol and rationing fears. Pathetic deflection.

It's happening again: Those who demand smaller govt & wish for the 'govt to get out of my life' are now screaming loudest that the govt should do something about petrol. Hypocrisy in extremis

IRAN WAR. Ok. I just met with an exceptionally well informed Swiss resident 🇨🇭 - a family friend and successful international investor. He told me that there is no question that Iran already has nukes. And has had them for years. He also said that banana prices in dubai have gone from 30 cents to three dollars and that onion prices have gone from 50 cents to 5 dollars. There is a week to ten days food supply there in a city of 4 million. If the desalination plants are hit there will be a serious water shortage. Personally from what I am seeing the decision to bomb Iran may be the biggest mistake that any american leader has made in history. Apparently Iran has been preparing for this for years. Iran is no Venezuela. They are a very proud people. Our friend told me that when perstroika happened some nukes that went missing were purchased at that by Iran. Iran is a vast country several times the size of France mountainous and resourceful. The idea that any invading force will come out unscathed is pure insanity. The west will be paying the price of this ill thought through decision for years. We are witness to a demonic blood lust by leaders who have no clue what they are up against. Of course he may be wrong. I hope he is. But sadly I doubt it. @RealCandaceO @TuckerCarlson

Work from home saves Victorians time and money. For busy families, it means less time commuting - and more time with their loved ones. It means money saved from petrol and parking. And it gives Victorians the work-life balance they deserve. It's why we're making work from home a right.

For transparency, I did cut out his long pauses and his “ums” just so I could fit it in the reel. I did not change or fix his speech in anyway. You can find the full clip on the Internet. I can’t believe this was going to sway people from one nation. @senatorpaulinehanson @onenationoz

South Australia is on the cusp of achieving 100% net renewable electricity generation. In the final quarter of 2025, the state sourced an impressive 84% of its electricity from solar and wind alone—the highest share of variable renewables on any major grid globally, according to the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO). This milestone highlights South Australia's pioneering shift from fossil fuels, demonstrating that high levels of intermittent clean sources, backed by storage and grid management, can reliably power a modern economy. The state is now pushing hard to hit its target ahead of schedule, with plans aiming for 100% net renewables by the end of 2026 (though official projections and legislation often cite 2027 as the firm goal, recent progress—including new wind farm deals—suggests acceleration is possible). This rapid decarbonization delivers clear economic wins: wholesale electricity prices in South Australia have fallen sharply—dropping by about 30% year-on-year in late 2025—making them among the lowest in the country. The surge in low-cost solar and wind has driven these reductions, with occasional negative pricing reflecting excess renewable output. South Australia stands as a compelling real-world model for other regions and countries, proving that aggressive renewable integration can simultaneously advance environmental goals, enhance energy security, and deliver tangible savings for consumers.
