This is a travesty, and never should have happened. The @WNBA and @Reese10Angel owe Sandy Brondello an apology for an overreaction so colossal it can be seen from space. All predicated on either ignorance or performative victimhood.
Attention whores don't care who they hurt, as long as they get that insatiable hit of dopamine once they've succeeded in creating a self-serving spectacle. Even if it's at the expense of an utterly innocent person.
And, if you try and defend it by trotting out Sandy's apology, just give it up. You know and I know that in the current climate, and in this league, she had no choice. She apologized, explained herself, and still got suspended. Can you imagine what would have happened had she not?
So bask in your victory, warriors. You succeeded in soiling the reputation of a highly respected woman and coach over a misunderstanding. You flexed your mythical victimhood once again with such tedious banality that it became absurd. Well played.

The WNBA has somehow managed to exceed even the lowest of expectations.
Sandy Brondello apologized for a phrase directed at the officiating... one rooted in Australian sports language and stripped of its cultural context... and the league still suspended her without pay.
Instead of explaining context, defending fairness or applying basic common sense, the WNBA once again surrendered to the loudest interpretation and punished someone for an intent she never expressed.
Then the league wonders why so many people cannot take it seriously.
Every manufactured controversy becomes an emergency. Every accusation becomes a verdict. Context is irrelevant, due process is optional and public appeasement appears to be the only governing principle.
The WNBA did not protect its credibility today.

The federal government doesn't have a revenue problem. It has a spending problem. Why? Because Elizabeth Warren and her follow politicians are addicted to spending other people's money. They are greedy. Greed is when you want what you didn't earn. Doesn't that describe politicians? When I invest money into an Elon Musk venture, my money is multiplied. When I send money to the federal government, it goes down a rabbit hole.

Toronto Tempo head coach, Sandy Brondello, just called Angel Reese a "protected species."
We have reached the point where an Australian coach cannot use a common Australian sports expression without the WNBA manufacturing another racial controversy.
“Protected species” means a player believed to be protected by the officials.
It was a complaint about the whistle... not Angel Reese’s skin color.
Racism is serious. That is exactly why people should stop inventing it where it does not exist.

Two perfect under the radar players that might be available for the Fever at backup guard would be Lucy Olsen or Jacy Sheldon. I watched Lucy her senior year in Iowa and she brought the ball up every possession & For some reason Washington doesn’t wanna play her. Sheldon is a legitimate two-way player but Sky has a minimum of 35 years of age to qualify to play guard on that team. They are dumb enough to trade her for Raven Johnson. I think both of those players are under utilized and would be an upgrade over Harris. Plus, both those players are very marketable. And if all else failed, isn’t Julie Vanloo out there?
