Montreal’s streets truly disgusted me today as I walked to work through the Plateau and into Downtown: scattered garbage bags on the curbs, tons of litter, a rat, a dead rat and so it goes on. How can this be normal? I am now on a side quest to understand how cities maintain high levels of cleanliness, trying to find lessons elsewhere in the world. DM or email any thoughts!
