On a per-person basis, Canada is attracting more foreign investment than any other G7 country - roughly double the next closest and our highest level in 18 years. More investment means more jobs, more growth, and more opportunity.

📊 StatCan released March inflation data this morning. Let's check Poilievre's math. Overall CPI rose 2.4% year-over-year in March, up from 1.8% in February. ⚠️[Statistics Canada](www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/daily-quoti…) Poilievre calls this the biggest one-month jump in 13 months and blames Liberal deficits. Statistics Canada has a different explanation. The primary driver of the acceleration was gasoline, which surged 21.2% in a single month, the largest monthly gasoline price increase on record due to the conflict in the Middle East. ⚠️[statcan](www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/daily-quoti…) Excluding gasoline, inflation actually slowed compared to February. Fresh vegetables drove food-from-stores higher, up 7.8%, due to tighter supplies from adverse growing conditions in producing countries. ⚠️[statcan](www150.statcan.gc.ca/n1/daily-quoti…) That is a global supply shock. Not a federal budget line. Canada's food inflation gap with other G7 nations is real and documented. As of February, Canada posted the highest food inflation rate in the G7 at 5.4%, ahead of Japan at 3.9%, the UK at 3.6%, and the US at 3.1%. ⚠️[Retail Insider](retail-insider.com/retail-insider…) ⚠️That deserves serious scrutiny of grocery sector competition and supply chain structure. What it does not deserve is being used to launder a geopolitical energy shock as evidence of Liberal fiscal failure. Poilievre is attributing a record gasoline price spike caused by a Middle East war to Mark Carney, who has been Prime Minister for a year. That is not a policy argument. That is a caption contest. #cdnpoli Thank you @MarcLevesqueEco for the heads up on the report.

Did Muskrat put a follow back limit on this app while I was gone? So many #NAFOFellas that I'm not allowed to follow back...it's maddening.

NAFO is the best online social media movement in the history of internet. The skeptics said it wouldn't last 6 months, yet it is stronger than ever. Thank you, NAFO!

It has been an absolutely amazing day watching people melt down over Carney getting his majority.

@mark_slapinski You support a party that’s killing Canadians and calling it care, clearly not a moral paragon. Just quit while you’re ahead, no one cares. If you come out historically as supporting the Liberals, oh boy. Imagine explaining to your grandchildren why you supported the Nazi Party…
