@BiesemeyerEllie Hippotherapy is fantastic! I got to volunteer @ 15 Hands & Hearts last semester, & we saw multiple Pts with autism. Pt autonomy was present & acknowledged. Dr. New-Jenkins told us that HT provides many more neural inputs! So it is + for balance and core stability! #PT582 #EB

A RCT found that PNF combined with low-frequency stim improved muscle contractions during PNF when compared to only PNF stretching. I personally think that stim can provide proprioceptive feedback while aiding in muscle recruitment #RO #PT582 ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P….
