It gave CO2 true believers a weapon they could use, with an hypothesis, to "adjust" actual data from the pre observational change records. Does not change the raw data.

Dear Climate change deniers . Today UK broke it's May temperature record by 2C. The UK has temperature records going back 350 years and in all that time we have never come close to this May temp. Without climate change this temp in UK would be impossible

@MatCMeier No Matt. Impossible to distinguish current warming from historical warming periods. Medieval warm period and Roman warm period for example. Humans have been here many times. Climate change is a naturally occurring cyclical phenomenon.

@Bbmorg Ignorant. Is probably aware the 97% claim is nonsense. But, to advance his political ideology, he is mendacious. If he is unaware of falsity of the 97% myth, it's easy to find the various papers addressing the flawed methodology of the original "study" making the claim.

If Antarctica isn't warming, explain: • ~150 Gt/yr of ice mass loss (IMBIE) • 2023 sea ice: ~5σ record low • Antarctic Peninsula: +3°C since 1950, one of the fastest-warming regions on Earth The ozone hole has temporarily strengthened the polar vortex, buffering East Antarctica from warming. Well-documented, expected, and now reversing as ozone recovers. Cherry-picking one continent doesn't disprove global CO2 forcing. It misrepresents what the science actually shows.

I have the receipts.  She claimed wildfires are caused by land management. 150M hectares burned this year - all-time record. She said sea level rise is manageable. Two Nature papers this week say projections are underestimates. She said the Great Barrier Reef is thriving. In 2024 - 75% bleached. Largest coral decline in 40 years.
