I just ended a 24 hour personal poll. I will write this up, as an article to share. I changed my affiliation on @X from Republicans disenfranchised to Democrat curses. The reactions will amaze you. From bots to Trump Admin blocks, this has been educational, to say the least.

ICE forced medical staff to give "powerful sedatives" to mental health patient—then "forcibly removed" him from hospital. Just 1 hour after federal judge ordered that he not be moved. Agents order staff to drug him "without a medical purpose" and "secreted him out a back exit" of the hospital to avoid being seen. His lawyer cannot visit him now that he's been taken from Minnesota to Texas—and he is functionally unable to have conversations over the phone. "It is unclear to his family and counsel what, if any, treatment he is receiving." Adrian Sotelo Guzman was legally in the U.S. as a DACA recipient—and then granted parole so he could continue to receive medical care.

@LongTimeHistory Bull. NO medical team would risk that lawsuit. Propaganda! “Agents order staff to drug him "without a medical purpose" and "secreted him out a back exit" of the hospital to avoid being seen.”

DHS: On March 18, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Todd M. Lyons sent Texas Rep. Veronica Escobar a letter detailing how one of her staff members repeatedly lied and misrepresented himself as an attorney to illegally gain access to ICE detention facilities on at least 11 occasions. Rep. Escobar’s staffer, Benito Torres, attested to being an attorney or an “accredited representative appearing before EOIR on immigration matters,” claiming to possess a signed Form G-28, Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Accredited Representative.   He also passed out a cellphone to multiple detainees, despite being made aware that personal phones are not permitted during detainee visits.   “The available evidence demonstrates your staffer, a senior caseworker named Benito Torres, misrepresented himself as counsel for detainees in ICE custody, violated clear detention standards and security protocols prohibiting the use of cellphones inside ICE facilities, improperly met with multiple detainees, and falsely claimed to ICE personnel such use had been approved by the agency,” Director Todd Lyons wrote. “As a result of bringing a cell phone into the Camp East Montana facility, contrary to facility visitation policy, Mr. Torres’ misrepresentation that he is a licensed attorney to gain access to detainees, his improper meetings with groups of detainees, and his assertions to ICE personnel about the origins of his visit, Mr. Torres is hereby prohibited from accessing any ICE facility.”   Torres falsely claimed he was a “lawyer” visiting “client[s]” in Camp East Montana’s visitor log on Jan. 30. The facility administrator discovered that Torres was passing a phone to multiple detainees and spoke to him; at that time, Torres admitted he was not an attorney and was visiting as a private citizen. The administrator reiterated the facility’s visitation policies to Torres, who falsely claimed his visit was coordinated through Escobar’s office and ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations headquarters.  After the fraudulent visit, officials reviewed past visitor logs and discovered Torres had repeatedly represented himself as a legal professional or said he was visiting for legal reasons. ICE records show that Torres has misrepresented himself at least 11 times

Today, accusations were made by ICE against one of my caseworkers — a dedicated public servant, Army veteran, and experienced member of my team. I have every reason to believe these allegations are unfounded.   It is worth noting that ICE has refused to respond to multiple letters I’ve sent about Camp East Montana regarding deaths, including a homicide; outbreaks of diseases including COVID-19, measles, and tuberculosis; waste, fraud, and abuse; a lack of legal representation or medical care; and so much more.   This administration has a history of engaging in intimidation tactics against Members of Congress as well as continuously attempting to obstruct our ability to provide oversight.   I stand proudly by the members of my team who have demonstrated nothing but dedication and integrity to serving our nation and our community.

ICE arrested Abdul Jalloh on November 27, 2018. He was in custody for 702 days, until ICE was forced to release him following a judge’s ruling that he could not be removed to his home nation of Sierra Leone. ICE can only detain illegals for the purpose of removal. Without third country removals, there was no possibility for this criminal to be removed or further detained. This case illustrates the importance of third country removals to public safety. Now, thanks to President Trump, criminals including murderers, gang members, rapists, pedophiles, and terrorists, who judges have ordered cannot return to their home countries, can be removed from the United States and sent to a third country.
Nick Minock@NickMinock

It would be nice to have an explanation from @DHSgov on how Abdul Jalloh returned to Virginia before allegedly murdering Stephanie Minter & stabbing others. The Fairfax County Sheriff's Office says the illegal immigrant was picked up by ICE in 2018. wjla.com/news/local/ill…

@EWess92 Exactly my argument that I received backlash from NH Reps is now, eell, noted: “NH to substantial confusion about their legal rights and…unconstitutional seizures if NH police are federally forced to stop motorists with expired vehicle inspection stickers and prosecute them…”

What happens when a Court issues a clearly unconstitutional order to take official state action--and the State refuses? NH ended a car emissions policy and contract. But a district court said that they must reenter a new contract. It's clearly wrong. So now what?
John Stephen@JohnStephenNH

A federal judge just denied New Hampshire's motion to stay a court order that would force the state into a contract the Executive Council rejected. The Council has existed since 1679. For 350 years, no state contract moves forward without our consent. That doesn't change because a federal judge says so.
