26 traders have given up their pitch in Roman Road market in the past 4 years and only 3 new ones are still here. This shows how little is being done by Aspire's Lutfur Rahman to support The Roman. If @CllrSirajIslam is elected Mayor he will invest in our markets and high streets

It meant remaining work could not be completed which included opening an arch to increase footfall from Queen Mary University. Ask local businesses & @friendsofmeath1

@CllrMarcFrancis The fact TH Labour councillors stood side by side with a now removed mayor in Bangladesh, accused of crimes against humanity doesn’t bode well… The politics over there is toxic. No TH councillor should seek to influence their politics or for theirs to influence ours.

This is a very worrying story. I know there are many dedicated staff working at Clarion. However, @CampaignerAbdi @AminaAliLabour + I also know many Bow tenants who have had a poor service. Tenants sent a petition to @RSHEngland demanding proper accountability, but it did nothing

This is fair criticism. When i asked earlier in the year whether Tower Hamlets Council would place the same restrictions on hire bikes as Westminster CC, i was told a plan was being devised to enforce removal of any obstructing the footpath. This should now be done without delay
