The right wants to pretend they are one thing so they can say only biology exists. Both are wrong.

The right, or what gets called the right nowadays, has a far more spread opinion. You have socials, biologicals, and boths. There's little universality and everyone has a different level of belief.

Having a falling out with family members over moral issues disguised as politics is an epidemic in the US right now. It's very similar to the divisions seen in families during the Civil War. There is one common theme, and it's discussed in this video: MAGA Cult Members (and this is a central theme to Cults) care more about what those in the Cult (what they often refer to as their community) than even their closest friend or relative. Even their own children. This can be devastating to the non-MAGAs effected, but surprisingly reassuring to those in MAGA, which only deepens the divisions and the pain. Tribalism is a powerful influencer on behavior.
