Have seen multiple reports of muddy rain last night (and dirty windshields)in western parts of DC region. Anyone have a picture? We’re also working to track down the source… may have been dust carried by wind into the region.

@foxonabox_ Priced out a family of 4 single day at any of the other resorts was over $1200 for one day and that only became available after the 1st for single day. Deer Valley quickly sold out. So many people were just stuck.

1) There are what…. 7 resorts in driving distance from PC? The strike was not a secret. Your fault for not pivoting. 2) Vail Resorts RAKES it in. Yet they chose to not pay ski patrollers (or chose not to limit ticket sales) despite being a billion-dollar company. Grow up.

@p_malatesta Iron Mountain Express was pure anarchy yesterday. I legit thought trails were open by the volume of people on them till I got to the top with my kids and saw the closed rope pulled down. Later that afternoon @PCski “officially” opened the terrain. Battle lost.

@wjr275th @liftblog “Your Mountain” is why everything at Iron Mountain Express was being skied yesterday. The skiers and riders decided that terrain was open hours before they said it was open at 2pm.

I’ve never seen so much negative social media about any ski area ever. The closest thing would be the Stevens Pass meltdown of 2021-22. That was also Vail Resorts. The General Manager was fired.

@PCMtnAlert That is 13 lifts. The app says 20 for today (but of course it counts Quicksilver twice, and also includes access only lifts). Perhaps be honest and say you *expect* 5 real lifts (ie that service their own terrain): High Meadow, Crescent, Payday, Bonanza, Silverlode.

@Casterwandhelp purchased wand at NYC store after the staff explained that the wand could control Hue Lights and that it works with Alexa and devices connected to it. I am finding neither is true. I have Hue light strips and hue bulbs paired to my app. Still not working. How?
