@Gabepluguez Spiritualizing attraction and personal fulfillment, using God’s will to justify a transition that began emotionally before the engagement fully ended. Desire, “peace,” and chemistry are being elevated above covenant integrity, humility, and careful discernment.

I met my wife while I was engaged to another woman. It was on a yacht in Croatia. “Business trip” fund raiser with 30 of Nashville's highest level entrepreneurs. We were among the youngest, our mentors insisted we tag along to learn and level up. We had no clue that what took place on that yacht would lead to the end of an 8 year relationship, 14 months of long distance dating, or a marriage and now a beautiful 9 month old baby. Here’s what happened. My ex-fiancée and I's relationship was teetering on the edge of a prolonged collapse On the surface everything was hunky dory. High school sweethearts. The wedding was paid for. We had our lives figured out. But, we were misaligned on fundamental values. We voted differently. We believed differently. We even valued health and wealth differently. And that misalignment was tearing us apart. I thought I was doing the noble thing, sticking with someone who was out of alignment with who God made me to be. I valued sustaining prolonged suffering. Got my identity from doing hard things - and that relationship was one of them. But, here’s the truth. My “noble suffering” - was killing her. I created confusion and insecurity while she was in the process of discovering her identity. My pride was killing the person I loved. We invested thousands of dollars into relationship retreats and counseling (none of which were Christian btw). All to no avail. Things only got worse. And so, the day I left for Croatia, we had just finished a brutal argument about who knows what, and something felt unsettled. I was on a plane-- alone, flying across the ocean with this feeling in my gut that my life would be different when I got back home. My fiance had basically gone radio silent, so I took the opportunity to reflect on my own. Finally, I arrive in Split, Croatia, board this beautiful mega yacht, make my rounds introducing myself to the group, settle into my cabin, have dinner, and get myself a good night's sleep after a long day of travel. And the very next morning, I saw my wife for the first time. Now, this wasn’t a hallmark movie moment where we lock eyes from across a room and instantly fall in love. No - my guard was up. I was engaged. In fact, I made it a point to specifically avoid the (very hot) younger woman on the boat. I had my boundaries. Nonetheless, when I first saw her, it was 6:00 am on the deck on the yacht. I had gone up to hit a morning workout, thinking surely no one else would be up at that time. But there she was. Doing handstands behind the bar. I noticed her clearly fit, very hot body, quickly averted my eyes, and walked across the deck over to the dumbbells. But then, something happened. While I was training, she waltzed right over to me, pointed out my calves, and asked “How do you train your calves to get them so jacked?” I proceeded to give her the most scientifically articulate, unromantic answer possible in order to make it clear that I was not available - and it worked. The conversation ended promptly and we went our separate ways. But then my entire life began to shift. After this initial interaction with my *now wife*, we had a “mindset session” at the back of the yacht that essentially prompted us to consider the promises God had for our lives. I thought through my business goals, primarily - and got radically clear on my mission, and what I felt like God had for my life. And in that process of considering what God had for my life, it was the first time in 8 years that I had ever allowed myself to imagine life with someone else. I wasn’t picturing my *now wife*. But I had shifted from this place of accepting unnecessary suffering, to truly operating from vision. Instead of thinking “I can make it through this.” I started thinking “What does God want for me?” And the possibilities began to open up. Now, before we continue, if you’ve made it this far - I want you to hone in on one crucial lesson: Stop making decisions from a place of unnecessary suffering. And start making decisions from a place of what God wants for your life. This isn’t fake Christian self help garbage. This is the nature of Christ. I am NOT saying avoid suffering. You WILL suffer. You must LEARN to suffer well, without numbing yourself, without your faith in God fading, without your identity being corrupted. BUT - there is no nobility in unnecessary suffering. Jesus did not suffer unnecessarily. Jesus suffered from a place of desire, to glorify God (himself) and to spend eternity with his people. Ephesians 1:5: “he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—” Jesus was willing to suffer HONORABLY, because he WANTED to glorify God (himself) and he WANTED his people. John 17:24: 24 “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. He wasn’t suffering from a place of compulsion, lack, or need - but from a place of Godly desire. Godly desire fuels unrivaled pain tolerance. Godly Desire fuels consistent obedience. Godly Desire empowers perseverance. If you are in Christ, and in intimate relationship with him, through prayer, his word, the gathering of the saints, and through christian accountability, ask God “Lord, what do YOU want for me?” Not what do “I” want for me? What do you “YOU” want for me? The cool thing is when you’re living by the spirit, submitted to Christ, your desires start to align with his. Please be weary when you pray these prayers, the heart is deceitful (Jeremiah 17:9). This is about God’s will. Not yours. Our will (apart from God) leads to destruction. When it’s Godly desire, in alignment with God’s will, it radically energizes action that leads to fruitfulness, righteousness, and peace. So, if this is resonating, remember: No more slave mindset “I’ll just suck it up and accept this as is.” Ask God: “What do YOU want for my life?” Now, moving on. My world began to shift. I began to allow myself to consider what God wanted for my life and the vision was becoming radically clear. Later, (2 days into the trip). I had my first real conversation with my *now wife*. We were eating lunch in a group. And of course, when I first actually looked her in the eyes- I felt it deep in my soul. The most beautiful creation I had ever seen. A feeling which I promptly shoved deep down because, well, I was engaged. Anyways, during that conversation I learned that my wife had actually also been previously engaged, which got my attention. It prompted me to ask God why he presented me with this amazing, beautiful young woman - who had recently ended an engagement? What was God trying to show me, or teach me from the presence of this woman? So following that conversation, I continued to pray and contemplate. Throughout the rest of the trip I put on fake smiles when people would ask if I was excited for my wedding. All the while averting my eyes and only speaking to my *now wife* in group settings. (I have witnesses) And after ~ 7 days of deep prayer and conversations, on the other side of the world, I had come to a place where I knew something had to change. So, the trip ended. I flew home, and as soon as I arrived, my ex-fiance and I ended things. It was beautiful, really. We both knew it was time. We said our goodbyes, and I felt like a piece of me had been amputated. I broke down and wailed. 8 years of built up energy - released. My neighbors probably thought someone had been murdered. But after that release - I felt something I had never felt before. Peace. Perfect peace. Shock. Rawness. Pain. But peace knowing I had just made what seemed like an impossible decision that was in alignment with God’s will for my life. In that moment I learned that happiness is not peace. Happiness can be deceitful. Happiness can keep you stuck. The pursuit of happiness kept my ex-fiance and I stuck in that relationship. But peace? Peace is different. Peace is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. You get peace when you live by the spirit, even if it’s hard. Then began the healing process, which was really just surrendering my wants to God's will, which deepened my relationship with God forever. And, eventually energized radical action. Including the pursuit of my wife, half way across the world - from Florida to Canada, long distance for 14 months. That faith empowered obedience during our dating like never before in the area of purity (although we still struggled). And, that faith energized us to submit our lives to God, truly considering what He wanted for us, not what felt like it would make us happy in a given moment. That faith presented opportunities to know Him like never before (through struggle, perseverance, and breakthrough). And of course, that faith resulted in blessings beyond what we could ask or imagine. That trust in God’s will, it brought me my wife. My best friend. My indistinguishable helper. That faith brought me my daughter, my perfect lovely daughter. That faith, and all God did through it, it’s served as a monument for me to look back on in remembrance of God’s goodness. A year and half of marriage. A growing family. Community in the Nashville area that strengthens our faith. Alignment in our business that would not be possible without my indistinguishable helper. All through faith in Christ, and His will for our lives. So, if you’ve made it this far. And there’s a part of your life where you’re currently living in unnecessary suffering, here’s my encouragement to you: Ask God what HE wants for your life. He is the perfect father. He delights in your well being. And his plan for you will GLORIFY Him and testify to his goodness. There WILL be suffering. But when you’re submitted to Him? It IS all worth it. Hope this blesses you. - Gabe

Sometimes the most beautiful love stories unfold in the most unexpected places. While on the train, a little boy noticed that his mother was tired. Gently, he held her steady as she slept. No attention, no praise just a child making sure his mother could rest, and rest easy.

The Islamic Resistance Council is real and operational. Revived by Hamza bin Laden, it now helps to coordinate Sunni-Shia terror groups under a single unified banner. 24-year-old Anthony Omari single-handedly fought off six machete-wielding armed intruders to protect 37 sleeping orphans at the Faraja Children's Home in Ngong, Kenya, an orphanage he ran with his mother, Martha Bosire. It was the fourth break-in that month. When Omari woke up to find the thieves in his bedroom, he grabbed a hammer he kept under his bed and charged at them, driving the group outside. As he turned back to calm the frightened children, one of the attackers struck him across the face with a machete. Despite the devastating wound, Omari managed to lock the front door before collapsing. He required 11 stitches and was left with a prominent scar running from his forehead down his cheek. After just two days in the hospital, he returned to the orphanage, refusing to leave the children vulnerable any longer. The story went viral after a Reddit post appealed for help. In a remarkable outpouring of generosity, more than 3,600 donors from all 50 U.S. states and 46 countries raised over $80,000. The funds were used to install a new security fence, hire guards, buy proper beds (the children had been sleeping on the floor), and cover other essential needs. Today, Anthony Omari holds a civil engineering degree, runs his own construction company, and continues to regularly visit and support the children at Faraja Children’s Home.

With his hands cuffed, he wipes his own tears…Because he was forced to confess to a crime he never committed. And then, they hanged him in Iran for protesting against Islamic Republic. His name was Erfan Kiani. But we only heard his name after his execution. His family stayed silent, not out of choice, but out of fear. They were told: stay quiet, and maybe he will live. So unfortunately many families believe the interrogators. There is no ceasefire in Iran. The executions never stopped. The war is not over, it has simply been hidden behind prison walls. I call on international media and the leaders of free world to take action about it. Say their names. Do not let them die twice in silence.

When pharma companies saturate you with ads on your streaming services/TV - they exploit two psychological levers: Affect Pairing and Solution Priming. Be vigilant Folleague! Tell your family what is occurring in these ads - it is NOT BENIGN: 😠 1. Affect Pairing (Emotional Conditioning) They are pairing two streams: Verbal channel: risk, side effects, clinical language Visual/emotional channel: warmth, family, vitality, normalcy. Your brain does not process these independently; it integrates them. Over repeated exposures, the negative tone of the risk-cautions imbues a generic (non-specific) fear residue inside one's thoughts about family and life. Because of cognitive load saturation and the novel names employed, you do not recall the medicine, nor its risks - you only integrate the idea that your family and life is at risk. Rare life-threatening conditions are suddenly right around the corner. They are not making money off added sales of the drug being sold per se - but off your fear and resignation. 2. Solution Priming (Cognitive Biasing) When cognitive load is high: The brain defaults to heuristics (shortcuts). The dominant heuristic becomes: “people in the ad look okay → outcome must be acceptable” - The calm authoritative voice lends credibility, standardization, and fluency to the subliminal message. In other words, the warning is heard, and fear insets, but the solution is implied. The visual story always resolves to - Nature and Natural Function restored - Social belonging - Personal dignity regained These images are presented in the background as a closure lever. The product being pitched to you is NOT what they are selling. They are deliberately selling you fear and resignation - the very core habit of dark energy work (loosh). This is far worse than tobacco ads in the 60's and 70's - and this practice should be banned.

An illegal immigrant tied to 17 alleged rapes in Nevada was deported eight times and kept coming back. That doesn’t happen by accident. It happens when reckless leaders vote against stronger border enforcement. Nevada deserves better than this.

There’s a version of Benghazi that keeps getting retold, and it’s wrong. It needs to end. Not once, over the course of September 11 or 12, 2012, did anyone on the ground request to be “saved” by the U.S. military. The calls were for reinforcements so we could take the fight to Al-Qaeda. That was the mission. That was the intent. We were not asking to run, we were asking to finish it. When those reinforcements never came, everything changed. It was no longer about securing the compound and hunting down the more than 200 terrorists involved in the six attacks that evening. It became a full evacuation. Not just non-essentials, everyone. And in that shift, we lost the opportunity to pursue the enemy, to hold them accountable in real-time, to deliver justice when it mattered most. We were forced to give up ground. With that, a U.S. diplomatic presence has NEVER returned to Benghazi. Al-Qaeda walked away from that night with a massive victory in their minds, even though their original kidnapping objective failed. It emboldened them and sent a clear message of weakness across the global terrorism network that you could kill a U.S. Ambassador and face ZERO consequences. Just months later, our attackers carried out the In Amenas attack in Algeria, killing more Americans. And over the past dozen years, the network that hit us that night has gone on to kill thousands more, including, yes, even more Americans. Today, our attackers are actively working on a massive plot targeting the U.S. homeland. So, if this failure to confront Al-Qaeda continues, we will be forced to watch our terrorists kill Americans on U.S. soil because that is the reality of what failure buys us. That is the cost of being forced to retreat instead of being allowed to fight. So stop twisting what we asked for. It was never to save us. It was about justice. We planned to finish the fight against the enemy, and no one stepped up to help us do it! @BentonDave28405 @TigTiegen @KTantoP @MarkGeistSWP

Understand this: The movies and shows about the crucifixion have been tame when compared to what He actually went through. Even The Passion Of The Christ was forced to hold back a little in order to avoid an X rating. Crucifixion was, and still is, arguably the most excruciating death someone can experience. The night before in Gethsemane, He was sweating blood. This is known as hematidrosis. This would have caused His skin to become extremely sensitive, thus making the beatings to come even worse. The fear He felt was the beginning of His feeling the weight of our iniquities being laid on Him. Yet - in this moment, He didn’t demand that the Father take it from Him. He only asked for the cup to pass Him over if it was within the Father’s will. Up next came the Cat of Nine Tails, or a Roman Flagrum. This was a weapon with long leather “tails”, each embedded with sharp bones and metal. He was flogged 39 times as Jewish law mandated “40 minus one”, because 40 was said to kill a man. This flogging wasn’t like being punished by your father’s leather belt. Every strike tore flesh, every strike exposed muscle. Every strike exposed nerve endings. Every strike tore flesh to the bone. This would be like getting struck with razor blades over and over again, leading to hypovolemic shock from blood loss. Oh, and the crown of thorns? These weren’t rose thorns. These were thorns which were 2-3 inches long. Beaten into his skull. These thorns would have pierced his skull, tripping the trigeminal nerve, thus causing unimaginable pain and even more blood loss from the dozens of head wounds. At this point, extreme nausea and dizziness would begin to set in. What came next? Carrying the cross. Which weighed around 300lbs. This would be like carrying two full kegs on your back. Splinters and wood grating against the open flesh on His back. And He had to carry it 650 yards, or close to a half mile. Imagine carrying a log on your back after being skinned alive. Up next? He was nailed to the cross with spikes 5-7in in length. Piercing His wrists - this no doubt pierced the median nerve, causing extreme burning sensations up and down His arms. A spike was driven through his ankles - severing nerves and tendons. This would have felt like standing on broken glass every time He pushed Himself up in order to breathe. He suffered for 6 hours. His chest muscles collapsing, making every single breath a fight for life. His shoulders were dislocated, His arms stretching unnaturally long. His heart was struggling to pump blood. He was extremely dehydrated, His lips cracking. His heart more than likely literally ruptured from the stress. And on top of all of that, He had to feel a separation with the Father for a period of time in order to REALLY bear the weight of our sin. He took up this burden for ALL sin before Him, and ALL sin which came after Him. HE DID IT ALL FOR US. To free us. To defeat sin. To give us a pathway to the Kingdom. Every sin we commit is exactly why He had to do it. And the real kicker? He knew what was coming when He rode into Jerusalem … and He didn’t turn around. He kept going. For us.

The Husky@Mr_Husky1·
He was thirty-two years old, a husband, a father of two little boys, and expecting a daughter in just a few months. In his final moments, knowing he would never meet her, Todd Beamer could have begged for mercy. Instead, he organized a resistance, prayed with a stranger, and spoke two words the world would never forget. It was September 11, 2001. United Airlines Flight 93 took off from Newark at 8:42 a.m., delayed and routine, heading for San Francisco. On board were 44 people: passengers, crew, and four hijackers. Among the passengers was Todd Beamer, traveling for work and planning to surprise his pregnant wife, Lisa, on her birthday. At 9:28 a.m., chaos erupted. Hijackers stormed the cockpit. The plane jolted violently. Screams echoed through the cabin. Within minutes, Flight 93 was turned around and redirected east, toward Washington, D.C. The pilots were gone. Control of the aircraft was no longer in the hands of those trained to fly it. Todd Beamer picked up the seat-back Airfone. He didn’t call his wife. He didn’t call a friend. He reached a customer service center and was connected to Lisa Jefferson, a GTE supervisor. What followed was a thirteen-minute call that would become part of history. Todd spoke with clarity and composure. He described the hijackers, the weapons, the layout of the cabin, the absence of the pilots. Lisa listened, documented everything, and stayed with him. As other passengers on Flight 93 made calls of their own, a devastating truth came into focus. The World Trade Center had been hit. The Pentagon had been struck. This was not an isolated hijacking. Their plane was part of a coordinated attack. Todd understood what that meant. Doing nothing would not save them. Compliance would not bring negotiations. The aircraft itself was intended to become a weapon. Whatever target lay ahead would suffer massive loss of life unless something changed. Todd asked Lisa to do something deeply personal. If he didn’t survive, would she call his family and tell them how much he loved them? He had every reason to be terrified. His wife was seven months pregnant. His sons were three years old and one year old. He would never meet his daughter. He would never see his children grow. But fear did not paralyze him. It focused him. Todd joined with other passengers, including Tom Burnett, Mark Bingham, and Jeremy Glick. They spoke quietly. They compared information. They weighed the risks. They understood the outcome either way. Remaining seated meant certain death and catastrophic consequences on the ground. Fighting back meant danger, injury, and likely death — but it also meant the chance to stop the attack. Over the phone, Lisa could hear the resolve forming. Todd returned to the call and asked one final thing. He asked Lisa to pray with him. At thirty thousand feet, facing the end of his life, he recited the Lord’s Prayer with a stranger. His voice did not shake. When the prayer ended, he paused, then turned back to the others. “Are you ready, guys?” “Okay.” “Let’s roll.” Lisa stayed on the line as movement erupted in the background. Shouting. Struggle. The sound of passengers rushing forward. At 10:03 a.m., United Flight 93 crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. Everyone on board was killed. But the plane never reached Washington. Investigators later concluded Flight 93 was likely headed for the U.S. Capitol or the White House. Because of what happened inside that cabin, that attack never occurred. Countless lives were spared by people who knew they might not survive and chose to act anyway.
