More than one thing can be true at once, and more than one thing usually is true at once. If we could accept this, there would be less identity-based group-against-group fighting. Here's a big example: Gen Z "versus" older people (they call everyone older than them boomers whether we are or not). These two things are true at the same time. 1. The cost of housing and basic living expenses today is far higher, inflation adjusted, than it's been in living memory. It is objectively harder, or impossible, for younger people starting out to find an affordable house to buy. OK. Gen Z, I gave you your due. Recognize that, and be willing to hear a place that you are wrong, too. It's only fair. 2. Young people have inflated and vastly unrealistic ideas about what a "basic lifestyle" is. They really do think that eating lunch out every work day is normal, that doordashing is normal, and that they "can't afford to eat." Not true. They have expectations of never having to cook from basic ingredients, or never having to pack a bagged lunch, that other generations did not have. Both things are true at the same time. -J

@DisaffectedPod Oh yes! You are right about that. I think they were resentful about being put back into parent roles when they wanted to be fun grandparents.

@NancyCatMom @DerrickEvans4WV @Rockinthe60z I know that mosquitos do not like garlic, so I'm assuming the same may work for ticks. Put 3-4 bulbs in blender with water, soak 1-2 gallons water overnight, strain solids & spray all outdoor areas. Plant garlic beds.

I’ve seen people talking about ticks but no one is really talking about the disease Alpha Gal that is spreading like wild fire all throughout Appalachia. I forgot to mention, you can’t have dairy products either. This is the biggest health epidemic no one is talking about.
