One of my coworkers died today from #COVID19. Not much older, great guy. We were just sitting together a couple weeks ago, talking about whatever. The next time I saw him, he was admitted to the ICU. And that was the last time I saw him. My whole body feels numb. 💔

One size does not fit all- risk is individualized and beyond family history. We should be advocating for minorities in the USA esp first generation immigrants. Hard to agree with age 45 onwards guidelines when my patients are in the 20s and 30s......

@pash22 @JAMA_current Breast cancer risk goes beyond fhx and super complex to predict. minority patients in my practice are in late 20s - early 30s with late stage breast cancer.... makes me wonder who advocates for them in all these general guidelines?
