Eeee!!! Some of my lights arrived 🥹Waiting for my key light and stand .. I’ve waited 5 years for this! I’ve got a few videos to edit before I use the setup anyway so I’m good to wait because I also finally got the Studio version of DaVinci Resolve 🥲🥳 Just yay!! 🩷

@JaaJuha @RapunzelASMR I haven't used stats for nerds for ads yet so this is actually very useful info! Thank you for clarifying this. I agree the volume level issue will be more of the issue than the ads themselves. Glad to hear they do normalize the volume so its not 1000000db at the very least

@RapunzelASMR @NathanAsmr Actually ads don't bother too much, if content loudness level is close to the ads'. Stats for nerds show that ads are adjusted to approx. 0 db. There are Asmr videos where loudness level is like -30 dB or lower. And dB-scale is logarithmic!

with these ad changes coming to all Creators, but more specifically ASMRtists - I can see the beginning of the new 4-8 hour ASMR video length meta already starting...🤣

@AmyKayAsmr @WhisperwindASMR @RapunzelASMR at the end of the day its about the stock price and showing an increase in profits. Shorts are the same thing...if Youtube forces an additional couple ads per video it means more $ and more profits to get a higher stock price. I wish it was different but I fear thats what this is

@RapunzelASMR I could be totally wrong but I feel like Youtube often added post roll adds automatically anyway on some content. Or maybe not? But yeah I think you might be right the majority won't be bothered by it...its those darned midroll ads that are the worst!

@OfficialRaynaTM 🤣🤣been in a helmet ASMR mood these days and was tired of seeing my room in the reflection! finally decided it was just time to figure this one out. Or just stop wearing shiny reflective costumes lol.

@NathanAsmr Oddly specific advice 😆

Are you filming with a helmet on and need help reducing reflections? I'm going to share something I learned. 1. Use Dulling Spray to gently rub over the shiny thing. 2. Use black sheet in front of you because black doesn't reflect anything really!

3. Put a TV on the ground, then a large mirror at a 45 degree angle, reflecting the TV onto you. Also a projector works for this as well. Hope this helps somebody because it took forever for me to figure this out.

@healingroomasmr the lineup looks really promising and its definitely in the back of my mind. It is a lot of money to spend so its hard to make a value judgement about what kind of things you could get out of there besides pure networking. Just my two cents
