@strofarm @steeke7 There are many more neighbors that have them and have dirtier samples. Maybe they are all wrong.

Cutterbar loss on these blacks was cut by 90% with the airbar. Don’t think I’d tell anyone to run edibles without one now. Easily 100-200/acre more gets in the tank in tough conditions.

@14Ram Any yield data yet on the plots?

It’s one of my favourite days combining & my family’s least favourite. Test plot day! 4 varieties, 2 populations, lots of differences in harvest efficiency & moisture, yield TBD. Thankful to have some helpers take the plot off & instil the love of science in the next generation

@DCHighlander Are blacks typically more aggressive than whites? Mine seem to be. First year I’m growing them. Was in them this evening and can’t walk through them well anymore.

Fantastic crop of striptill black beans. Doesn’t get much better than this!

@farmerschneck Wow! Just incredible! No better crop possible at that yield! Yeah that’s all we’re getting this year too. They don’t like wet feet. Are you doing strip tillage or no till?

@NathanErb83 That field ran 2700. Field prior got way more damage and some herbicide injury and only did 1550.

Done #adzuki harvest. And done winter wheat seeding within minutes of each other. On to soybeans. #ontag

@thewheatteam @EvanAerts @WheatPete Which one is better in the trials? I prefer Adrianus. Shorter than Pro 81 and top end yield if fed properly.
