@OnlyAsking3 I'm in Lincolnshire, I've seen lots of ladybirds, but no greenflies (feel like seeing them is a rare occurance nowadays), barely any bumblebees or butterflies and not a single wasp yet

Where are all of the insects? With the heat, I’ve been expecting bees, wasps, flies, beetles…. But nothing. A few ants, but even them in modest numbers. Is it just me? Without insects, what will birds and bats eat? How will our food crops cope? Is there a serious problem?
