اس کو آپ رپورٹنگ کہیں گے یا مذہبی نفرت انگیزی؟ بی بی سی کی رپورٹ دیکھ کر @jang_akhbar اور @geonews_urdu نے ایک خبر تو دی، مگر اس کی کوئی جانچ نہیں کی۔ میں خود اثنا عشری شیعہ ہوں، اور جس گروپ کے خلاف یوکے میں کارروائی کی گئی ہے، وہ دراصل مصر کا ایک شخص چلا رہا ہے جو خود کو اثنا عشری کہتا ہے۔ اس نے اپنے گروپ کا نام “Ahmadi Religion of Peace and Light” رکھا ہوا ہے، اور جو شخص اس کو لیڈ کرتا ہے وہ خود کو امام مہدی کہتا ہے۔ اب اس گروپ کو جنگ گروپ نے جماعتِ احمدیہ کے ساتھ منسلک کر دیا، اور اگر آپ خبر دیکھیں تو اس میں لکھا ہے: “قادیانیوں کے مرکز پر چھاپہ۔” حالانکہ اسکا تعلق جماعت احمدیہ سے دور دور تک نہیں۔۔ چونکہ پاکستان میں جماعتِ احمدیہ کے بارے میں پہلے ہی عوام میں بدگمانی پائی جاتی ہے، بلکہ بعض اوقات سرکاری سطح پر بھی ان کے خلاف نفرت انگیزی کی گئی ہے، اس لیے حالانکہ وہ پاکستان میں موجود ہیں، پھر بھی ایسے اخبار، چینلز یا رپورٹرز کے خلاف جھوٹ، افواہوں اور مذہبی منافرت پر مبنی خبروں پر نہ کوئی مؤثر کارروائی ہو پاتی ہے، اور نہ ہی خبر دینے والے اپنے ضمیر کے مطابق معذرت یا شرمندگی محسوس کرتے ہیں۔ اور اگر ان رپورٹرز کو تنقید کا نشانہ بنایا جائے تو ان کے ہم خیال آ کر “more power to you” جیسے جملے لکھ دیتے ہیں اور کہتے ہیں کہ یہ تو ایک سادہ سی خبر تھی، رپورٹر کا کام ہی خبر دینا ہے۔ حالانکہ رپورٹر بخوبی جانتا یا جانتی ہے کہ وہ کس مقصد کے تحت ایسی خبریں پیش کر رہا یا کر رہی ہے۔ @AasimSaeedPPP
