@thulanimjita @femalepencil Most people have free texts and calls in that UK too, have for years. We still use WhatsApp mostly. It also has encryption, group chats and so on.

@femalepencil Instant messaging is widely available for free in the country, also I message and they also communicate via other social media networks like Instagram. I was also shocked when I lived there
