We didn’t have to create a statewide tax with a 400-person new bureaucracy. Republicans offered a voluntary paid leave plan that was an insurance product employers & employees could buy into. Democrats WANTED the STATE, not individuals, to make all DECiSIONS- another example of creeping socialism.
