@Hunter___L @DownGoesBrown That’s where there is some room for discussion imo - but the context of hockey and professional sport, where the ref does nothing and not will the league - so, if you do not want to be disrespected, you need to provide reason for it to not happen.

I’m not saying the cross check is justified, but an angry reaction happening is understood. Sportsmanship includes respect for your opponents, violating that is when there is a cost.

This decision has stripped clubs of a powerful community outreach tool and removed meaningful support for Special Initiatives, all to protect a select few who do not want to answer any questions about their choices. I hope the NHL reconsiders in order to remain a leader in DEI.
