Quiet Logistics, Veyer, and now XB Fulfillment winding down… In other words, running a 3PL is very, very hard, whether you’re shipping 100 orders per day or 10,000. If anyone needs help relocating, happy to recommend some good groups we know in any specific niche.

Make sure your 3PL is profitable.
Aaron Rubin@aaronrubin

This is @mattahertz scoop. Quiet was the best 3PL for ecommerce, with a great founder at one point in time. It will no longer be a 3PL. And that was kind of everyone’s expectation following American Eagle’s acquisition. Serving companies as a 3PL is a pretty different business than serving consumers as a brand, and no one has been able to pull off both.

@CadmusBenedict @tryspikehealth We do but the 3PL company we are using is quite expensive when it comes to shipping outside of the US, something we plan to fix soon

If you read this and conclude you must take 80mg of zinc daily to not get sick .. just don't, it's just way too much instead, you can just drink @tryspikehealth and get the right balance between zinc and copper, as well as 11 other compounds to get everything from glowing skin to bettered glucose metabolism to better immune system

If you have a cold and you want it to go away faster, consider taking a zinc lozenge. Aggregating data from three randomized placebo-controlled trials, it seems lozenges cut down the time people are sick by ~40%. By day 5, 70% were cured with lozenges versus 27% with placebo.

Three years ago we started Mountainy with one goal — make fulfillment better and more affordable for the brands we love. Today, that mission grows west. 🌵 Our new Phoenix, AZ 3PL location is leased and ready to rock — and it’s all thanks to our incredible clients and friends who’ve trusted us along the way. Let’s go, Arizona 🏜️📦

Everyone from ecom twitter is in Brooklyn for the beanstalk event. This is now a safe space for 3PLs to share the stupidest questions you have seen in an RFP.

it was only 3-4 years ago when i realized so many of the reddit posts are fake accounts and so many existing regular users are just taking cash constantly from brands undisclosed basically package buying from aggregators the way you would get seo backlinks back in the day sad because i know so many dudes who do so much research on there and they're just getting ruthlessly manipulated
Jacky Chou (buying online businesses up to $1m)@indexsy

REPEAT AFTER ME Reddit is so easily abused right now There's NOTHING stopping you from farming 100 Reddit accounts at a time Here's my 2 week warm-up SOP (bookmark for later) Use a privacy browser, resi proxies, 1 assigned location per account no exceptions Week 1 Day 1: Login, scroll 10-15 mins. Just vibe, no clicks. Day 2: Scroll 15 mins on 2-3 subs. Upvote 1 post. Day 3: 20 mins on 3-5 subs. Upvote 2 posts (diff subs). Day 4: 20 mins scroll. Upvote 2, save 1. Day 5: 25 mins. Upvote 3, peek into 2 comment threads (no replies). Day 6: 25-30 mins. Upvote 3-4 posts, 1-2 comments. Day 7: 30 mins. Upvote 4-5 posts, 2 comments, save 1. Week 2 Day 8: 20-25 mins. Upvote 3-4 posts, 2-3 comments. Drop 1 short comment (<20 words, e.g., "This helped me tons, thx!"). Day 9: 25 mins. Upvote 4-5 posts, 3-4 comments. 2 casual comments on diff subs. Day 10: 25-30 mins. Upvote 5-6 posts, 3-4 comments. 2-3 comments: share light experience or ask Q. Day 11: 30 mins. Upvote 5+ posts, 3-4 comments. 3-4 comments: mix short/long (2-3 sentences). Day 12: 30 mins. Upvote 5-6 posts, 4-5 comments. 3-4 comments, one light humor (keep it chill). Day 13: 30+ mins. Upvote 6+ posts, 4-6 comments. 4-5 human-like comments (typos OK, no perfect grammar, add "idk" or "lol" sparingly). Day 14: 30+ mins. Upvote 6-8 posts, 5-6 comments. 5 comments, one full para (3-5 sentences). Style Rules: No em-dashes—use commas. Casual, Reddit-isms like "tbh" or "ngl" lightly Mix tones: helpful, opinionated, no salesy vibes That's it. You're welcome. After your 2 week warm up period you can start posting soft shills GLHF, Valhalla awaits

Just slayed a call with an olive oil brand. Onboarded them in less than 15 minutes. Lead came in from a webinar we did a few weeks ago. Brand should clear $1.5mm this year. $120 AOV. Bootstrapped. Founder is a young, hungry kid from CT. I can’t wait to try the olive oil. He is shipping a bottle to me as we speak. 🤗 #LaborDaySpecial

@BallinFil Can be frustrating when you only want to see the brand succeed, but they refuse to adapt with small negligible changes that could make their lives and our lives much easier (and happier customers). Service provider vs partnership mindset.

@BallinFil Great post! It’s the best when smaller clients who have never used a 3PL come ready to learn and adopt best practices to set us up for success. They reap the rewards of that. “Bad” clients don’t make the effort to work w/ us, even on little things, which only hurts them.

I respect 3PL owners because it's a combination of the worst side of running a brand (inventory management) and an agency (client management). You're always a cost center (can't create value). Always expected to ship faster. Always expected to find cost efficiencies. It doesn't help that sub 5mil ish brands are terrible 3PL clients. Usually it's your first time working with a 3pl, things aren't barcoded, volatile sales patterns, etc. High expectations but terribly setup for winning. Many don't make it past 1 year. The list of pain just goes on. When we ran Pearly, we went through a few 3PLs. Had some bad experiences, but honestly we could have also been better clients. In reality, it's the last thing you're thinking about when trying to scale. So shoutout to all the people building 3PLs 🤜🏼🤛🏼

@OKD2Houchen @AmericanAir Yeah - we've had so many issues with them with delayed/cancelled flights in the past, but this takes the cake, truly. They are one of the most frequent flights for the routes I need to go, but this exchange is making it easy to look elsewhere/pay more to avoid this.

AA was never going to do anything. Worse than cattle treatment. Drop AA if you can. I've been flying for 51 years. Not once have I been treated the way AA has treated me lately. I've flown in Papua New Guinea, Sao Tome & Principe, SE Asia, South & West Africa..."airlines" that probably shouldn't be flying all the way to Singapore Air on a regular basis. NOT ONE has been as rude, unwilling, and as unaccommodating as @AmericanAir

@jeffbwann @AmericanAir Apparently they're trying to use the excuse that because I booked it on a different ticket # since their app wasn't showing the morning flight, they won't cover it. Which makes zero sense why that would matter. Absolutely ridiculous

@AmericanAir So that's the loophole you're going to go with? Your app was only suggesting flights that were in the evening to switch to and my wife needed to be at a conference as a speaker that next morning. Online this was the next available AA flight there. It's not our fault your app...
