Former Sheffield United and QPR goalkeeper Paddy Kenny was at “Harvey Fest” on Sunday a family-run event at the Hog’s Head pub in Hackenthorpe, South Yorkshire, raising cash for “Harvey’s Hub” youth club in memory of 15-year-old Harvey. Harvey was stabbed to death on his lunch break at All Saints Catholic High School in Sheffield on 3 February 2025. His killer, another 15-year-old boy, was jailed for life with a minimum 16-year term. Kenny posted footage on X showing officers at the event and raged: “Police have turned up asking for an event certificate… What the f*** has this world come to. Unf***ing believable.” The family had full permission from the pub manager. Many called the police action “disgraceful and disrespectful” to a grieving community.
