@BaronKimble It's built in Unreal Engine 5! As for Fab, I don't have any plans at the moment since this is a personal portfolio project, but who knows in the future. 😊
English

@NicoPerin3D What engine is this? You going to put this on fab?
English

First proper walk through the castle blockout 😊
Screenshots hide a lot. Moving through it at eye level is where you find out if the proportions actually work.

@GDragonDev I’d recommend gathering lots of references first. If a blank canvas feels overwhelming, start with simple cubes and basic shapes to find a composition you like. Once that works, you can gradually refine the blockout.
English

@NicoPerin3D May I ask what your process is for designing your blockout layout? I have a lot of trouble creating levels from blank canvas, and I get lost trying to figure out where things should go organically. Do you plan your blockouts at all or just go with the flow?
English

Finally put together a walkthrough of the first completed zone 😊

@AndrewNick21727 Thanks! It took a lot of work, and I still have the whole second sector to finish. 😅
English

@NicoPerin3D Did you create such a massive scene all by yourself? That’s amazing.
English

@NicoPerin3D Sweet as, looking forward to it. All the best on the next zone. Have a good one. :)
English

@ImLocalStranger Haha, I think I'm going to steal your idea of adding benches with some vegetation around them. 😄 Thanks for the suggestion!
English

@NicoPerin3D Aesthetic wise like adding sliding doors or hinged folding doors, planter boxes with shrubbery and flowers, benches outside for people to sit, or lower hanging signs it may get more crowded, but yes I love the scaling and how you aren’t running into tables or desks upon entry
English

@FSG4566 Thanks! It's inspired by Sea of Thieves, World of Warcraft, Fortnite, Overwatch, Wayfinder. The goal is to create a stylized world that mixes the things I love most about each of those games into its own identity
English

@NicoPerin3D Great work. I’m curious, what games or films inspired the interior and exterior environments of this project?
English

Some shots of the castle interior 😊

@Quantum_light_0 You’re right! I meant the blocking stage. If you check the tweets below, you’ll see the context. 😄
English

@NicoPerin3D completed i think not, its not textured so its not completed 🤔
English

@JorgePedra88 Thanks! Around 6 months so far. Most of that time went into planning, references, and the blockout for the first sector.
English

@NicoPerin3D Looking very good. How much time did you spend building itm
English

@ImLocalStranger I'm really glad you noticed that! That was actually the goal. Since it's a stylized world, I played with the scale a bit to make it feel more comfortable both visually and from a gameplay perspective.
English

@NicoPerin3D A lot of the time in games like this the doors and arches feel too small
I love how open this is right now and how you just walk right in with room to breathe
English

@NicoPerin3D This is so cool! it's already looking amazing!😍
English

@duke_nukem_7 Thanks! Nope, it's just a basic lighting setup for now to help guide the blockout. I'll do the proper lighting pass later on.
English

@EspressoMagi Thanks, man! That really means a lot. I'll do my best to make sure you guys enjoy the second zone just as much as the first. 🏰
English

@NicoPerin3D Far out Nicolas, you seriously cooked here 🔥
This is epic as.
I’m in awe of what you’ve created and excited to see what you’ll achieve with another 6 months.
Hats off to you.
English

@EspressoMagi Haha, quite a while 😅. I'm about 6 months in, and I've only just finished the blocking stage for the first sector. A lot of that time went into gathering references, figuring out the design, iterating, and building everything from scratch.
English

@NicoPerin3D Damn this is looking heaps good. How long did it take you to put together?
