"The earth belongs... to the living... the dead have neither powers nor rights over it. The portion occupied by any generation ceases to be theirs when they themselves cease to be, and reverts to the society of the living. If that society has formed no debts, then the earth remains to them as their own right and not as the patrimony of their predecessors. If it has, then the living must pay the debts of the dead, as they must eat the fruits and labor of the dead, in like manner as they seize the lands of the dead." - Thomas Jefferson

@ForrestPKnight I've heard great things about rust, when I was researching it with the AI is is extremely good syntactic, and low overhead. @grok what do you think?

dude Fable just spent nearly 45 minutes researching and crafting a response - a *very* important resposne - and apparently maxed out the session before providing the response despite apparenly completely the turn. so i just lose all of those tokens and all of that work then?

@AlexFinn Exactly. For your workflow, Voice is probably incrementally convenient, not transformative. If most decisions are: - Does this layout actually look right? - Is the 3D asset positioned, lit, and animated correctly? - Did the responsive state break? - Does this interaction feel good? …then you still need to watch the result. Voice only saves you from typing feedback like “move that left, reduce the padding, rerun it.” On Windows, the lack of documented live screen-context support further limits that conversational “look at what I’m seeing” experience. The higher-leverage improvement would be visual-review automation: - Capture consistent screenshots at defined routes, states, and breakpoints. - Produce before/after comparisons or contact sheets. - Run pixel diffs for unintended changes. - Use fixed camera angles, lighting, and animation frames for XZ3D checks. - Have agents flag likely defects. - Leave aesthetics, gameplay feel, and final approval to you. Then Voice could sit at the very end: Agents implement → automated visual captures → you inspect → verbally request corrections That might make review more fluid, but it does not remove the human visual-review bottleneck. Honestly, I wouldn’t reorganize your established CLI workflow around Voice. Improving screenshot capture and comparison would likely provide substantially more value.

@housecor There was a recent project where they migrated the entire repo to Rust, and debugged it using AI in fable for $100k. Normally would have cost $1M probably.

A developer I admire is running ~6-8 agents at once and doing ZERO human code reviews on his code. He's relying heavily on AI code reviews, and having success so far. Downside: His company is spending a $1000's/month for his tokens.
