@itsAdityaT Visit a 500 yo building in Europe and a 20000 yo in India. You will find it much harder to navigate through noise, pollution, scammers, and perverts to reach a heritage site which looks more abandoned than preserved. And you already know which one I’m talking about.

I don't understand why people are obsessed with Rome and vatican since most of the construction is 500 years old approx while ancient Indian temples are more than 20,000 years old. Have we failed to market us?

Guilt Tipping in Deutschland: War gerade Eis essen.

Two days ago, I traveled to Jodhpur for work. But from the moment I got off the train, I felt uncomfortable. A group of men, probably between 18–28, kept staring at me not just a glance, but constant, unsettling staring. Later, when I went out for dinner, it happened again. More men, the same kind of staring. I was wearing a full-sleeve shirt and loose pants nothing revealing but it didn’t matter. Their audacity made me feel exposed and vulnerable. I wanted to confront them, but I couldn’t. I froze, and I hated myself for not speaking up. That whole day felt wasted. Instead of focusing on my work, I was just trying to get through the discomfort. When I returned to Jaipur next day, it happened again. I was in an auto when a group of men in a Scorpio slowed down beside me. More staring. The number plate was from UP. This time, I felt real fear. In that moment, I made a promise to myself if I ever have a daughter, I won’t let her grow up in India feeling unsafe like this. I will do everything in my power to protect her no matter what it takes.

@gharkekalesh he wasn’t playing with the snake, he was harassing it. The cobra clearly signaled him to back off but he kept aggravating it. Snakes have survival instinct wired by default. Respect its space and capture non-violently

The man who came to catch the snake paid a heavy price for playing with it, a painful de**ath in a live video within 3 minutes!

Why do you think Indians have so much pent up rage in them? Small arguments are leading to people being shot or killed or beaten to pulp? Traffic issues, neighbourhood squabbles, dog owners fights and even a minor birthday cake cutting incident. What is the cause for such rage, anger and frustration?

@btcforever19 @matkashbakihai i humbly disagree. My parents are just teachers, yet they had enough to support me while I built a better life abroad. And we’re supporting my sister now. And my parents are still upper middle class. You don’t need mp/mla wealth to achieve a better QoL

@NishpakshRathi @matkashbakihai Money is the first wealth which is required after that rest all the luxury of living in western countries. So regarding that post to the salaried class about comparing them with mla mp and police don't understand that first having money is required to get such posts.

Dear Salaried friends, the average Police Inspector of your locality has more wealth than your manager's manager's manager. Your Councillor has more wealth than your entire team. Your average MLA and MPs have more wealth than some of your entire organizations. Reality.

@matkashbakihai First, you brought food being torture in Germany into the conversation. Second, I think you are confusing being voted as the best cuisine with the availability of food. As much as I enjoy Italian/Greek dishes, I love bavarian food the same.

@NishpakshRathi Looks like you are extremely ignorant. A country that has been unequivocally and globally voted to have the best cuisine is where I live. I still like my own Kannada Cuisine and Chinese more than the cuisine of where I stay. This discussion is irrelevant to the OP though.

@CornStar0 @matkashbakihai Good it worked out for you that way. My wife (chinese malaysian) cannot walk 500m alone without attracting unwanted and somewhat perverse stares. Home is where safety, security, and quality of life is not in question

@NishpakshRathi @matkashbakihai Good for you and your future generations. I lived in Netherlands for some time. As much as I loved it, home is home with all its imperfections.

@NishpakshRathi I too have these luxuries. Additionally, where I live, good is not a torture like it is in Germany.
