Personally I think a $1-3k robot is very close to the magic number where it will get mass adoption, if it can do just one chore. Its the cost of a new dishwasher. Not cheap but also a normal part of your house. Cant do everything, and a lot slower than a human, but does one thing reasonably well.

@NoriRobotics launched the Nori L2 today.
Loading dishes, pouring beer, doing laundry, making coffee. Two units can make a bed together.
Skills can be shared across Nori units via a marketplace.

It is just inevitable that small businesses in America will start buying @NoriRobotics units and deploying them in their physical spaces, just imagine this robot doing warehouse pick and pack, cleaning office at night time, watering plants, doing meal prep. Most likely we're going to also see a revolution in equipment financing as well.
