These are the fuel control switches on a 787. No different than the 777 757 767… they have to be lifted over a little gate to change position - it’s not something that a trained pilot can accidentally do… they move up to “RUN” for start, and cutoff for shut down. Not implying anything here - just showing it for the visual.

Here is close up of the same type of fuel switch that was utilized by the Air India dream liner. You can see there is a metal protrusion that requires the switch to be pulled out and then moved to cutoff position. This design prevents the switches from accidentally being “bump” from the on to off position. Last picture is from the preliminary safety report. Lots of questions.
