@Beetlep95923146 @KeeThomasMDT @dahirmo17 @1nsightty No I just realise that it would be silly to rip up a new project basically 12 months in to start from scratch for at best a sideways move , get me Enrique or possibly nagelsmam and we can talk. Otherwise I’m happy to give the man that won the league last season respect and time

@L34dB3lly @stehoare Probably should be but then you factor in everything that’s gone on and how weak the squad is and it’s probably about right bar maybe a few points and a position higher

@NotDeanRyan1 @stehoare I was referring to the fact what we have now should be performing better and that’s down to the coach

Finally, that season is over. Take the Champions League place and run. It’s clear the manager is staying now, so him and Richard Hughes need to build a squad capable getting back to the top. A lot of work to be done.

struggling since the death of a beloved friend and teammate. We all said after it happened that we should support the club unequivocally in this tough time but it only took a couple losses for this weak and hypocritical fanbase to start slinging mud and be nasty to the manager.

Liverpool's 25/26 season is over. I think it's fair to say it's been a failure. Not by the club, the players or the manager. It's been an absolute failure for Liverpool fans. A pathetic lack of support to the grieving players who are STILL talking about how they are still

@stehoare I don’t think we have a bad squad currently though! These players perform as expected with their international teams. Hard to have hope for any progress with the current set of coaches.

@jimmybagels306 Can’t get me head around it, seen about 100 tweets yesterday morning saying the club better not think of letting him near a mic today it’s meant to be a send off for Mo and robbo. People genuinely aren’t well, even some on here I thought were ok have slipped onto that bandwagon

@dahirmo17 @1nsightty He avoids accountability like the plague tbf. Blamed this season on “injuries”. You’ll never hear slot say “it’s on me” or “I could’ve done better”

It’s weird that people still get angry every week expecting things to be different yet, was easy to see how and why the season was done months ago. Got through it with CL in the bag ,reset and go again now sound

@Waz612 The bit later on in Inside Training when he says to Robbo “it feels strange doesn’t it?” And Robbo just says “yeah”, is the most telling That said, he can’t help his own personality. If he stays it’s on the club, not him. So we have to grin and bear it, and get behind the team

EDWARDS & SLOT OUT
Robbo and salah aren't impressed. "These staff members have put you in an incredible position to perform" Slot doesn't know how to compliment a player properly. This is all for the camera and you feel like tearing your eyes out watching it

He will be lucky to last Sunday. The true animosity will be laid bare . 6.7 million supporters don’t sign petitions lightly. Arne Slot is about as popular with LFC fans as a rare fillet steak 🥩 in a vegan restaurant. The owners will not turn that ship around. #SlotOut
Neat Excel@AdewoluAre

@amanifuad3 The decision has made through highest office, and I don't think anybody can change that decision right now. Slot will Stay with his horrible tactics😭😭😭

Hearing first hand from Andy Robertson this week about the harrowing impact of Diogo Jota's death behind the scenes at Liverpool has made me re-evaluate a desperately poor season. Have we been too critical? The final Blood Red column of the season. liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football…

Crazy because a lot of the fanbase accepted this would be the case throughout the season, and then a lot turned on the whole club. Hearing the players finally speak out about what has been a season of suffering on and off the pitch should open the eyes of a few of you. What they have been through isn’t normal, and now we finally see grief with the acceptance to talk about how hard it has been, we hopefully see a side that are going to be mentally stronger and in a position to fight again. They’ll never forget Diogo Jota, we will never forget Diogo Jota however, the grieving will turn to strength and a desire.

🚨🗣️ 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Virgil van Dijk opens up about how the Liverpool squad has not been able to process Diogo Jota's death very well throughout the season. "From the moment it happened, we all returned from our vacation and ever since then we have been on a train that just kept on going. There was not even a winter break." "We just had to keep on going. We tried to hold meetings about what happened but at the same time we kept getting confronted with what happened while at the same time having to play a game every 3 days." "When we would win a game, we would suddenly lose again a fews later. Our emotions went up and down, up and down, it has not been easy for us." — ViaPlay

Arne Slot on what he needs to change before next season: "I think we have to do better in many phases of the game next season. So set-pieces is one, scoring goals from them and we have not scored enough goals from open play. We have not generated enough chances from open play. "So, yeah, there are quite a lot of things that we have to improve but it has been shown at other clubs that making two signings in the winter break can make a massive effect. "So I am not saying these two make the difference but sometimes you have to add stuff to a team so that the rest can evolve and get better as well. "And that is completely normal for a club that is in transition. Especially at a club like this because we cannot complete a transition in one window, for obvious reasons. "I think Jurgen Klopp's best team that was competing for every single trophy at that time took a few years to bring together as well. "And we have made very good steps in terms of signings last summer and these players will evolve with the ones we already had and if we can add one or two then, I think, we as a group will look much better next year."
