If that’s the choice you made, fine, but it’s also your responsibility to deal with the consequences. Why should women sacrifice spaces because some men made some weird choices?

@judge148 I think there is still a compromise, tho. There are many trans that respect reality and other's boundaries, however, trans women cannot share intimacy spaces with regular men. Protecting women doesn't mean we have to throw trans women under the bus.

one of the more alienating gaps between trans women & our most progressive cis allies is how much of a fear this is for us vs how little of a concern it is for them. too many orgs too afraid to take strong stances against trans women in men’s prison, much less campaign for it

If one of us released a game that centered on a female character killing trans rapists, not only would it be taken down the moment it came to Steam’s attention, but - depending on their location - the creator might even get arrested. And that’s in spite of the fact that trans rapists are an all-too-common phenomenon, whereas gender-fascist concentration camps exist only in the oppression fantasies of a group of people who see themselves as the most victimy victims ever to be victimized.

I have never, ever had an issue with single-sex spaces. I am a woman and use the woman's bathrooms and not once have I been confronted. The women I work with have no issue and support me. Transgender people are not the problem.

humans have the ability to recognize the sex of other humans with roughly 99% accuracy. dont base your self worth off of trying to fool it.
