My idea for a PvE option for Marathon is to have a sponsored kit for each map and all loot is compromised so you can’t take stuff out I would love to experience Cryo but it sucks getting killed in spawn room literally as we hit security clearance 1 and the utility spam fights

Glad we went from ability spam in D2 to utility spam in Marathon. I'm getting really tired of every time I load into any map every engagement is just spamming nades.

@avcables 1 you’re cables (who prefers a) 2 in the beginning while learning the game and being new to the genre going in as a duo is painful. It’s got a learning curve to it WHICH IS FINE. They may not be the most profitable runs but I feel even I can do some duos now. So yes health first.

As someone who was “stuck” playing duos in Marathon looking for a third, it’s definitely not the biggest issue. Overall game health is a higher priority and matchmaking pools (not only across Rook, solos, trios, fills, and four maps) should be left to the people with the data.

@xHOUNDISHx It is an issue that just the skin costs 1,120 forcing you to buy more since the $10 pack comes with 1,100 lux. There’s need to make money and being scummy about pricing.

I'm glad that I don't feel an impulse to spend 15-20 dollars on skins in a video game. That's like half the cost of the actual game.. Bungie need to make money though. If it makes folks happy, why not? - Each to their own.

Can you guys handle D2 like Marathon? Start a Discord server, ask feedback there, get the devs and other CMs in the server to just chat around and interact with the community to ask for feedback. Its amazing how Marathon is handling the community and Destiny should start doing the same. Just having people like Dmg here on twitter is nice, but nothing beats being able to poll feedback for the game on Discord.

@ItsBobbySocks I would love for this to prove to Bungie quantitatively how important healthy PvP is. I can only hope they don’t try to go the route of Destiny is our pve game and marathon is our PvP one. Both ips need a healthy balance of both to thrive.

@glacial_void @DestinyTheGame Oh absolutely this is 10000% not on the comms team in any way. I know they are not to blame in any way. I’m sure they were begging to get something out but were receiving pressure to not say anything until marathon launch but that just hurts both ips imo.

Our next Major Update, Destiny 2: Shadow and Order, is undergoing large revisions and will be delayed. This update is being changed and expanded to include sizable quality-of-life updates and as a result, will also be renamed. This update will now launch on June 9, 2026. We will provide exact details closer to release covering previously announced Weapon Tier Upgrading, but also additions like expanding Tiered Gear to all Raid and Dungeon activities, Pantheon 2.0, Tier 5 stats for Exotic Armors, and more. Through June, we will continue to have routine bug fixes and stability improvements, continued portal modifiers, Guardian Games (March), and the return of a more frequent Iron Banner cadence (April). In terms of communications, we will be focusing on providing you with updates about our live game content, community activations, and general upkeep through the TWID and our Destiny social channels. @glacial_void @DestinyTheGame I think the issue is not the news it’s self it’s that we are less than two weeks away from the date. In no world was this long of silence to this close of the release date acceptable. I’m glad they finally said some and happy the delay is as long as it is.

@DestinyTheGame I do not envy having to deliver this news. People say silence is deafening, but turn around and crucify anything that isn’t what they want to hear.
